I used Contrado on three separate occasions for my wall art prints. The quality and thickness of the paper is great and the colours are vibrant. Excellent quality product. Their customer support team has also been very supportive as I had numerous questions on size, cropping, borders, mounts etc. and we exchanged emails for months and service was consistently great. It was also fast and reasonably priced. Will use again in the future.

While printing is great ..... I am currently waiting for items ordered on the 12th and 14th of December, which they promise to complete in 1-2 days. I completely understand that this time of the year delays are inevitable, and always allow a few more days! However, I have been unable to get an update for days and already had to refund 1 customer. I rang this morning and someone promised to call back, but they didn't. This afternoon I went onto the chat box and someone informed me that they had run out of the items I ordered back 7 days ago. I rang the office and they said they would do their best to send the items out. I asked to speak with the Manager 3x, the 3rd time I was told the Manager would call back in 10-15 min, still waiting and it is now 4:00 pm. I can't update my customers, this is damaging my business reputation! I want my money back.

I’ve been partnering with Contrado for my online business for nearly two years, but my recent experiences have been so appalling and horrific that I feel compelled to warn others.

I ordered a rug for a customer that arrived in shocking condition, covered in deep dirt marks and stained patches spread across the entire surface. These weren’t minor blemishes—they were extensive, embedded marks that made the rug completely unacceptable and unusable for any customer.

When I reported the issue to Contrado, instead of acknowledging the severity of the problem, they repeatedly insisted that the marks could simply be brushed or vacuumed off—a completely absurd suggestion given the deeply ingrained stains. I pushed for a proper resolution, yet they dodged responsibility at every turn, first telling me not to dispose of the rug as they could “reuse the base for other orders.” Later, they asked me to “cut it up” and send photos as proof that it was unusable before they would even consider a refund. After endless back-and-forth and jumping through these hoops, they finally offered a voucher—a meaningless gesture considering the repeated quality issues—before reluctantly agreeing to a refund only after I had corned them and complied with their absurd request to cut the rug into pieces.

Despite this ordeal, I hoped that Contrado had addressed the issue and decided to place a second rug order. I even emailed them immediately after placing the order, asking them to ensure the same dirt issue wouldn’t happen again, as it had only been a few weeks since the last incident. Incredibly, the new rug arrived with the exact same deep dirt marks, despite my proactive communication. When I reached out to Contrado, they outright refused a refund this time, claiming it would be a “complete loss” for them. They once again suggested that the marks could be removed with a vacuum—an unrealistic and unacceptable solution for a brand-new product. Expecting my customer to deep clean a new rug to make it presentable is beyond unacceptable.

The lack of accountability and refusal to offer a fair resolution forced me to refund my customer out of my own pocket to protect my business’s reputation. Contrado’s poor quality control, combined with their unwillingness to stand behind their products, has been incredibly damaging. For a company that brands itself as premium and claims to prioritize quality and customer service, their disregard for partner loyalty and customer satisfaction is astonishing.

If you value quality, consistency, and accountability, I strongly advise avoiding Contrado. This experience has been frustrating, time-consuming, and completely unacceptable, especially for a company that charges premium prices. I regret ever trusting them with my business.

I can’t say enough good things about the Contrado product, people and customer service. I ordered a small amount of their custom wallpaper to see if it would work for my project. Unbelievably, I received it in just a few days and the product was far superior to anything I could’ve imagined: the printing was crisp and clear, it matched my current wallpaper perfectly. However, the wallpaper came in a Federal Express mailing tube and FedEx had broken it in half. This damage the wallpaper on the inside but I was able to use The undamaged portion, so I contacted Contrato for a partial refund, but mainly to alert them to how the shipper was treating their product, so they could avoid the problem in the future. They responded to my emails immediately and with reasonableness and concern, and we worked out a partial refund. The company was so impeccable from top to bottom that I want to buy more wallpaper just to work with them again. Also, the ability to make impeccable custom wallpaper open so many doors. I've ordered some acrylic block prints from them. The quality was extremely poor. It looked like they run out of ink half way trough printing. (See the pictures of the images l've uploaded next to the prints l've recived) When l made my complaint they offered me 10% refund. Why would l want a dicount on something that l wouldn't even wanna keep if it was free? I was expecting them to offer me a full refund. When l said l was not happy with the 10% refund they wanted more pictures to fully assess the issue. I'm not used to being treated like that by other printing companies l work with. I've decided not to deal with them anymore. They can keep their money. Good luck to them.
