Highly recommend Balloon & Bakes! I was let down last minute by someone else, so I contacted this company to see if they’d be able to help. They managed to sort a birthday cake for my daughters 1st Birthday within a couple days. Beautiful cake, very tasty, Thank you!

So pleased with the birthday cake for our son’s ’under the sea’ themed party. My vision for the cake was delivered beautifully and the vanilla sponge was absolutely delicious. Everyone was so complimentary. We will definitely be putting our order in again in the future.

The birthday cake was very good looking and people really thought it looked lovely. It was tasty, very moist chocolate cake. The service received by the staff there was really good. We received very good reviews from parents. My daughter loved it too.

Strongly wouldn’t recommend this place, spoke to someone via Facebook Messenger requested a specific balloon due to it being in high demand. Was assured this particular balloon would be ready for me to collect the following day, I called them to let them know I was on my way to be told “I have sold the last one!” So a complete and utter let down! And before you try and advise there should be a deposit or payment nothing of the sort was mentioned! Massively disappointing lucky The Card Shop on Salhouse road were able to help and not let me down!

I ordered a cake from Balloons & Bakes for my son's first birthday and was so impressed! Helen and Julie took the time to chat to me about what I wanted the cake to look like and offered lots of helpful ideas to make it look great. When I picked the cake up it looked exactly how I'd pictured it! It was such a beautiful cake and we got so many compliments on it; the details were incredible! It was also absolutely delicious - we went for a lemon flavour which was lovely, and I now want to try even more of their flavours as they have an impressive selection to choose from. The customer service was also brilliant, Helen and Julie are so friendly and payment and collection were super easy. There is a huge range of balloons and decorations on offer in the shop too. I'd definitely use them again and would highly recommend them if you're looking for a special cake or any party supplies!

What a FANTASTIC place! I had no idea what sort of cake my little girl wanted but Helen and Julie patiently talked her through ideas. The most beautiful Rapunzel cake, covered in icing dress, flowers and hair appeared. I was able to order and collect all the wrapping paper, balloons and badges as well. When we went to collect the cake, they made a real event of it for my daughter. And OMG the moisture and taste of the chocolate cake was beyond delicious. If you are planning a party or celebration then Balloons and Bakes are everything you could desire and more.

We have used Balloons and Bakes for the past couple of years for all
Birthday and celebrations. Their customer service is out of this world as is their Balloon displays and Bakes quite literally! We have allergies in our house and they bend over backwards to make sure we still have what we want just safely!! They have everything you need in one shop so no need to go running around all different ones! These ladies just make the whole experience of shopping 100 x easier and better! Wouldn’t go anywhere else!
