I attended the introduction to Block Printing course with a friend and we had the best time ever. Holly was a fabulous tutor, patient, knowledgeable and thorough. The studio is crammed with lovely things and I wanted to buy everything. The company ethic with regard to sustainability and supporting local artisans in India is highly commendable. The gift of some beautiful, handcarved blocks to take to a school I support in Africa was overwhelming and represented the global nature of this small company. Highly recommended and I plan to return in the future.

Had a great half day block printing workshop despite being quite nervous about how it would be. There was a nice atmosphere and Anabelle put us all at ease and was encouraging and knowledgeable. Ended up with a nicely decorated tote bag - happy. Highly recommended for all levels, from absolute beginner like me, to experienced enthusiasts. Glad I went.

Had a really lovely day on the Traditional Taste of India Printing workshop in October. Very welcoming and questions answered with great knowledge. A vast range of blocks, inks and ideas. The workshop is amazing, all staff are warm and friendly. I have an overwhelming desire to go back again. Thank you for a brilliant day.

I attended a full day printing workshop last week. My experience that day was amazing. The resources available was endless. Holly and Annabelle were excellent . Holly was v helpful that afternoon with doing my projects. Just loved it all and waiting to go back with my sis in law again! My projects from that day. I would highly recommend a full day workshop as you get more out of this.

I had an incredible day at a printing workshop. We were really well supported by our tutor and there are loads of inspirational displays and blocks you can use to make something unique. This is an amazing business that works with hand carvers in India. The team offered loads of helpful tips. 100% I will be coming back for another session

Had a fabulous morning with my daughter and friend learning how to block print on fabric. I can't praise the tutor, Holly, highly enough, she was welcoming, encouraging, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. We each came home with 2 finished items and will definitely be going back to do more 😁

Brilliant family business that also supports families in Jaipur who make the printing blocks. Everything is of good quality and beautifully packed. The tutorials are great! I did an online workshop with Tess, which was fun during lockdown. The tuition was clear and at the right pace. I have been printing tea towels to send to much missed love ones. Warning! The paint colours and the blocks are so beautiful you will want to own them all

I attended a lampshade making workshop at The Arty Crafty Place last Thursday and had such a great time! The staff are so friendly and helpful, offering advice, explaining and demonstrating each step in detail and being very patient with us. We had lots of time to practice on small pieces of fabric, until we were happy with the colours, blocks and design we wanted to put on our lampshades.
If you love crafting, I highly recommend The Arty Crafty Place. I'm looking forward to me next workshop, hopefully before too long.
