Absolutely loved the experience and track. Really well organised and good facilities. The track is an excellent and challenging outdoor track, which is mainly left handed. Be cautious that it's quite physical due to the nature of an outdoor circuit, but it's totally worth it. Plenty of parking, conveniently located by road but not close to public transport. Highly recommended

Visited on a lovely weekday for a grand prix event and had a brilliant time, it was run efficiently and staff were always on hand if needed.

The centre has its own parking and is located next to Thruxton race track, I'm not aware of any local amenities nearby as we travelled for this event. I can recommend the Jackaroo Cafe literally around the corner however.

For the Grand Prix it consisted of a practice, 2x small races and 1x longer race resulting in around 40 minutes track time for £79. Karting unfortunately isn't cheap and I expect this isn't far off the 'going rate'.

In terms of track time, I wouldn't want to do much more in one sitting as it was incredibly hard work. Conditions were sunny/hot with a dry track resulting in a lot of grip and a proper workout. A few of the older attendees dropped out due to this so bear in mind.

The track is anti-clockwise and generally fast with some slower chicanes and hairpins resulting in a fantastic track overall. The back straight felt very quick and the track rewarded absolutely sending the kart in with some use of the kerbs.

I point out that it was run efficiently because our group alternated with another but there was no time wasted and the karts were ready to go as soon as the other group had finished. It is very normal to have sessions alternate like this for a small break and to have multiple sessions ran at the same time but often it can feel like there is time wasted and your 30 minutes track time for example could end up taking 2-3hours.

From our booked arrival time to finishing was around 2.5hrs, this includes providing some details, getting your equipment, watching the briefing and the karting itself.

The facility includes a hot drinks and vending machine, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, toilets and the briefing room. I wasn't made aware of any changing rooms but didn't require one but should you wish to change, you may need to ask about a private space.

Unless your bring your own, gloves and a balaclava are mandatory and cost £3.

Would definitely go again if the opportunity arose.

A really interesting track with tough corners, and a nice fast straight. The staff are friendly, and it feels very safe.

During wet conditions they give you waterproof overalls, but you might still get a bit wet, and the racing is even more exciting.

We had a couple of karts fail on us, but they are quickly removed from the track and replaced.

It also feels very safe and well managed.

We had the best time Karting here, the team were all so helpful. They were all really patient when my blood sugar was dropping and as I was the only one on track for half an our really pushing me keep chipping away at lap times. Had such a great day. Thanks all!

Raced here for the first time last weekend and it was fantastic, the only negative is that this track needs some kind of cafe / canteen or something as it only has choc bars crisps and a hot drink machine. Apart from that, one of the best karting tracks in the country.

Fantastic facility, friendly staff and good karts. Easy to make yourself motion sickness on the track though as they're quite fast and some wicked corners !
