I use to shop at Sainsbury's Dome Roundabout between 09:00 and 10:00 pm every Saturday. I do not feel safe at all, due to the young drivers who utilise the parking lot to drift and run with their modified vehicles. Why do not you install speed bumps like Asda? By doing so, the drivers will no longer utilise your parking lot as a circuit. Please tackle this issue as a matter of urgency, otherwise you may end losing many loyal customers that do not feel safe to drive in your parking lot.

Dec-22 updates: youngsters keep using the parking lot for drifting and racing purposes (got multiple videos that document the situation, but they cannot be uploaded here). This is the only supermarket in Watford where similar issues happen. Does Sainsburys care about customers' safety? Why do not they install speed bumps like Asda? Would rate zero stars, if possible.

June 2023 update. Drifting has become something that happens constantly, both during and after opening time. Customers are forced to use alternative lanes, as drifters occupy half of the parking lot. Is Sainsburys going to do anything in respect of this?

I have managed to upload a short video. More videos will be uploaded soon.

As you can see and hear, the noise during the night is loud as everything else is silent.

My understanding is the neighbours have complained to the police on multiple instances and the police has made Sainsburys aware of the situation.

However, it seems that nobody at Sainsburys cares about this issue and the parking lot is still being used as a circuit.

Sep-23: the situation is definitely worse as the parking lot is being used for any purposes 24/7. I am going to keep uploading videos to document the situation. Hope I can get out of here soon, so no more noise during the night.

09th May 2024: it's Thursday night. People (that for sure are not going to wake up early tomorrow morning to go to work) have decided to play the "kick the ball in my ass" game in Sainsburys parking lot (check the latest video). Multiple broken promises from Sainsburys to fit a gate and speed bumps in the parking area, but nothing has happened so far. The worst supermarket's parking lot ever.

Oct-24: the parking lot is unsafe, still being used for drifting, car races, football games, loud music during the night, etc... Sainsburys does not care at all (the problem would be solved by fitting a gate at the entrance of the parking lot). Hopefully, I am going to leave this shitty place soon.

Visited the upcoming auction exhibition. Great experience, a privilege and a pleasure to attend. The staff are warm and welcoming. The pics are of some of my favourite lots.

Staff keep all the bargains for themself, i made a journey here as the online stock checker said every item i wanted was in stock (they use a disclaimer to weasel out of blame) went there and there was nothing. So i can only assume they keep all the discounted items to sell later at full price or staff are stealing them. Otherwise why would they show in stock

Reasonably good sized store. Staff very helpful. Plenty of disabled parking.
Pity that they don't have Heinz organic baked beans. Why Heinz? It doesn't contain garlic. Update: they now have Heinz organic baked beans 😊 it's an on and off thing.
The Super Sweet Corn On The Cob is tasteless.
An improvement in customer service since they have moved to the side of the small shop come cigarette counter.
Went to Sainsbury's today and encountered the pathway blocked by trolleys which is an all too often occurrence. Update: they got the message, so far no pathways blocked by trolleys.
The avocados are too often below par.
The in-store mince pies are not baked in store but are brought in frozen and they aren't nice. There's no salt in the pastry so there isn't any contrasting taste, only a sickly sweetness.
No organic beetroot. Rarely any unhomogenised milk. There's a better organic range than Lidl and Aldi but Tesco beats them.
UPDATE: As of 19/01/2023: They're at it again. Check out the last two pics

Terriable experience 17th of July around 12 pm.I am frequent Sainsbury customer.Spent 122pound and had to wait app 45.min to be served on till.( only one was working). After nearly 45 min they opened 2nd till.I really have to ask where was store manager, where was supervisor? Are they doing their jobs for what they are paid?Maybe this is issue for Sainsbury Head Office in Holborn? So many people(customers) were frustrated like me.Do Sainsbury needs customers really or not?If they go on like this will loose them and they will go to ASDA in neighbourhood.Still need to be mentioned gentleman who was only on one till that time Mr Simon.Very nice, polite and hard working. The company has to be proud of having him. There is no excuse for Store manager who has to be blamed.

Who on earth thought it would be a good idea to reduce the number of self service basket checks DOWN to only FOUR? In this giant shop. And of course, it's absolutely obligatory that at least 1 of them is out of order. Looks like Asda across the road will be seeing a lot more of me, which is a shame, as the customers in there are significantly uglier 😔

SHOCKING SERVICE THIS EVENING!!!
Stopped in for a working lunch (yes it's late but my day is very long! ) to have in my car while doing paperwork. No cutlery for said food.

Ask at customer service - "haven't had any in ages, if it's not there, we ain't got it"
No effort to check, ask a colleague, look in stores, under desk, just a lack of care.

There's now no way to eat the food I've just bought myself.

That's now Sainsbury's off my radar for 12 months. Well done .
