Northern print offers a great range of specialist print workshops suitable for beginners or people wanting to develop their skills. There's a small gallery space and a good sized print room. Definitely worth signing up to their newsletter for notifications about upcoming workshops as they often book up quickly

Just spent an utterly wonderful day with print master Alex Mcintosh and several fellow students learning the basics of screen printing.

Alex’s knowledge, patience and generosity plus his ability to turn a group of strangers into a team supporting each other and working together made for a wonderful experience.

I’m a veteran of numerous creative workshops. This was, by a country mile, the best. All taking place in an incredibly inspiring and creatively rich environment from the prints on the walls to the exhibitions. From the willow pattern inspired loo

Northern Print is extremely friendly, professional and welcoming, I have visited here on many occasions with my family, who love coming, especially my two boys who have experienced some printmaking and always left inspired. They also hold diverse and interesting exhibitions in their gallery space which is relaxed and informal.

Very welcoming Open Studio weekend and little ways of encouraging visitors to try out different print methods: a Christmas envelop in screen printing, a Christmas card on a compact self-inking press and stamps on a small-sized Albion press. Super little gift shop and an interesting display of historic Christmas cards by mid-20th century printmakers like Edward and Richard Bawden...really stimulating visit. Found my Christmas cards thus time.
