We held our wedding here in August 2024 and could not have found a more perfect venue.

We had compliments from so many guests about what a perfect venue we found - and we agree! We were able to make use of the gorgeous walled gardens for our drinks reception before heading to the courtyard for our wedding breakfast and evening celebrations. The archway is THE perfect space for dancing and the bar and harness room are wonderful quirky spaces. We also made use of all the on-site accommodation which was so handy and meant we could relax on Friday ahead of the big day.

Susie and Rory were brilliant and always on hand to answer any queries quickly and efficiently.

We had the most special wedding weekend and could not recommend Kingsettle Stud more for couples looking for a romantic, countryside venue that you can really make your own.

We had an amazingly peaceful stay in the "Lapwing" Shepherd's Hut for a couple of nights. There was so much to see in the way of nature so bring your binoculars and camera. The "Merlin" bird app recognised lots l I'd never seen or heard before. A pair of Kites flew over several times and there were some Skylarks, Chiff Chaffs, House Martins and a Woodpecker among many others. There are plenty of places to walk the dog and the people around here are so friendly. We didn't use the car all the time we were here. Susie was very helpful and left us some milk, bread and butter in the fridge for when we arrived. We had a very nice cooked breakfast both mornings at the local Cholderton Farm Shop which is a ten minute walk up the farm track and was also dog friendly. We took advantage of the offer for a late checkout (1pm) on a Sunday which made our departure more relaxed (I'm still here typing this). We'll be back, and for longer!

A place to go if you want complete relaxation and serenity surrounded by countryside and fields of horses,cows,peacocks and semi wild chickens foraging next to you in a rustic setting. A definite must visit for a couple of days for anyone from the Big Smoke.

Our wedding was the most perfect day at Kingsettle, we had so many compliments from guests on the stunning venue and how different is was to other wedding venues. The different areas create such a lovely flow for the day and the peony aisle is truly so special. Susie and Rory were so helpful throughout our planning and gave us the freedom to have our day exactly as we wanted. Thank you so much!

Saw an outdoor performance of Romeo and Juliet here. Guests were invited to bring a picnic and then seats and blankets for the performance were provided. A lovely evening, and although it was distracting for the performers, I loved the interruption by the peacock flying into the tree and calling out.

Our wedding at Kingsettle Stud was a picture perfect fairytale full of rustic charm.

The beautiful rambling gardens were the perfect setting for our wedding ceremony. Our guests were delighted by the amazing space they had to explore which lent itself beautifully to the laid back and relax feel of the day.

The owners are helpful and accommodating and gave us so much freedom to have our wedding day exactly how we hoped it would be.

We are happy that we found this incredible venue- it's a true hidden gem!

We stayed here (The Bustard Hut) and it was delightful ! The hot tub had just arrived, so we were very excited to be the first to use it. Lovely setting, peaceful nights sleep on a comfortable bed, and views as far as the eyes can see.

Beautiful hidden gem of a venue for a fairy tale wedding we went to recently. Natural and rustic in a very well cared for way. Be aware that the distance between the gorgeous outside wedding venue and the courtyard area is a bit of an uneven trek for older family. Surrounding area is also lovely with some nice pubs. Lovely people running it. Would highly recommend Kingsettle Stud 🖒
