Update… after my first visit, I have now become a firm regular at The Shed. My stone animal family is growing, and I have brought some beautiful vintage gifts for family here. Siobhan is always a delight to see. A wonderful treasure trove of a shop that I highly recommend.

I popped into the shed today. I’ve been meaning to for a while and I was so glad I did. What a lovely little shop filled with treasures from times gone by. Every inch filled with interesting items but not crammed so that you can’t see things. Old photos, gardening tools, love.y old weathered pots and tubs, I saw a beautiful glass bowl that was really unusual. The whole shop has a calm feeling, a feeling of well-being. I chatted to the owner , a really lovely friendly lady called Siobhan. She does all the buying herself and hand picks all the items. Old keys, kitchenalia, old bottles, all drenched in history . I bought some old bottles. Siobhan wrapped them in tissue and put them in a lovely little bag. Do make time to take a look round. It was the nicest part of my day .

Popped in with my sister yesterday . Oh how I wish there were more shops like this , brimming with character and original items not found everywhere else ! If you like vintage , antiques or recycled it’s a dream !
