Met with friends Saturday 1st March for coffee, breakfast as in previous years and service was brilliant with happy ladies looking after us with rounds of coffee and every time a cheerful welcome and delivery to our table. Well done to the cafe ladies.

I visited Oxford Garden centre tday whilst my son was at a specialist cricket camp.
The garden centre is beautiful, however I was made to feel very unwelcome in the cafe.
The lady who was serving today refused to look at me or acknowledge my presence while I waited to get a cup of tea (no queue or anyone in front of me). No smiles, a number of disparaging looks, and 15 min later, I was then told to get my own cutlery when I could see other customers being given cutlery with their hot drinks/food.
I decided to leave at 3.15pm when she decided to put up all the chairs against the tables so she could clean. I could see this was my cue to leave as I was not wanted or welcome.
Upon leaving, despite her behaviour, I said Bye as I walked past, and was completely ignored!
Actually found this behaviour really upsetting and could not understand what I had done. Can only assume it to be the colour of my skin, being the only Asian female in the cafe
