Adam and the team were first class, from start to finish. The marquee was perfect, and even accommodated differing heights in my garden. Communication was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. The team was efficient and professional. After set up, the result was a magical outside room, encompassing my flower beds, making a seamless extension to the house. I chose the clear roof, which opened up the space, with heaters and lighting. My guests were blown away by the size and atmosphere. I highly recommend using this company. They offer really good advice with a range of options, which can be modified easily. Thanks to the team.

We had the pleasure of working with Adam for a weekend of parties in our garden, and I can’t recommend them enough! Adam was absolutely incredible from start to finish. Our garden is pretty small, but Adam managed to maximize the space, using a few sized marquees without anyone even realizing how compact the area was. He took the time to carefully measure our garden and provided us with a great price. He truly understood the vibe we wanted for each night and set up different lighting and furniture arrangements to perfectly match the atmosphere. Even though we had a storm over the weekend, we felt completely cozy and sheltered inside the marquee, completely unaware of the weather outside. Adam went above and beyond, personally visiting us over the weekend to check that all safety measures were in place and everything was secure. His attention to detail and commitment to our comfort were truly impressive. When the weekend ended, the team cleared up the marquee quickly and efficiently, leaving everything spotless. The whole experience was seamless and stress-free, and we couldn’t have asked for a better service

Abacus created a wonderful bespoke marque to my garden for my daughters 30th birthday, it was a hard ask as I wanted it directly seamless off my house and to incorporate our outside kitchen/bar and a summer house all whilst looking like a nightclub !! well the team didn’t disappoint where other marque companies said it couldn’t be done Abacus did it.. All our guests were blown away when they turned up for the party we had a fantastic night under the starlight ceiling and the chequer board dance floor with all the pink up lights around the boarder of the marque it just looked incredible!! A night and marque to remember.. Thanks so much for all the teams work it went up in a day/ worked late and they couldn’t have being any nicer … highly recommend if I could give a 10 star rating I would .. thanks once again

We used Abacus to supply a marquee for our wedding on the 7th of September. Mark and all his team were brilliant right from the start with the first site visit. Great communication with emails and whatsapp and nothing was too much trouble if you wanted to discuss or change things right up to the last minute. We did have one issue with the ground levels but the installation team sorted that out for us. So i would not hesitate to recommend Abacus if you are thinking of having an event.

Oh wow if anyone is planning an outside event this is most definitely the company to use. Abacus Event & Marquee Hire, the team is just amazing, professional yet so friendly & accommodating, nothing was too much trouble to arrange or sort for you, from Marquee type, chairs, tables, bars, refrigerators, staff on the night & portaloos. They cover it all & at such a reasonable cost. The guys on the day were so polite, such a credit to the company. All the guests were impressed with our whole event so Thanks to you it all went so well, even the rain stayed away for us! I worked with Mark and his team back in 2023 when friends of ours got married in our garden. When my car club (RREC - Rolls-Royce Enthusiast Club) parachuted me in 16 weeks before our 2024 Annual Rally and Concours d'Elegance to deliver an event over 3 days for 2500 Members, I immediately turned to Abacus to help fulfill my needs with a great sense of urgency. There was very little time to secure 20 marquees and all the additional infrastructure around delivering a complete event. Working very closely with Mark was an absolute pleasure as he was always ready to face whatever challenges I threw at him. He was very quick to understand the nature of his client and what was expected. He dealt with me with utter professionalism and always with a 'no drama' approach. As with any big event, the pressures mount exponentially the closer you get to the event. This did not affect Mark and his team one iota, and when it came to the 4 day build of our little city, he and his team worked incredibly well, fast and efficiently, always ready to listen to me making decisions and giving direction over the whole build. The precision and accuracy of the whole build was extremely pleasing to me as my OCD insisted on everything being laid out in lines and in correct spacial settings. Mark and his team were such a delight to work with. Every day of my interaction with Abacus from day through to the completion of the site de-rig (the procurement of resources took 15 weeks and the event was a complete 10 day cycle from build to de-rig) was one I eagerly welcomed daily, they were so wonderful to work alongside with. There is not one thing I can be negative about which says an awful lot about Mark and the team he has employed to work alongside him. I miss my daily interactions with Mark and the team at Abacus now that the event is over, and I hope to be working with them again for both future RREC events and ones of my own. Would I recommend Mark and Abacus? ABSOLUTELY YES!!! ('Recommend' as a word in this context seems rather bland. I'd like to use words such as: applaud, celebrate, commend, compliment, esteem, eulogize, exalt, extol, glorify, laud, plug, sanction, second, and most importantly, value!) Mark, thank you so, so much for making my job so much easier and streamlined, and for absorbing some of the time/pressure critical issues I faced always with a smile.

I used Abacus Marquees for my daughter’s 18th birthday party. I would highly recommend. The communication via WhatsApp was easy and prompt. The guys who set up and took down the marquee were great. The marquee looked lovely and all the guests were amazed by how our London garden was transformed. Abacus also provided me with bar staff and security who were excellent and so helpful. They were key to the party running smoothly.
