We have been visiting Alnmouth for 30 years and always enjoy The Old School Gallery shop notecards paintings gifts and Coffee shop Courtyard etc . Unfortunately the same notecards are sold at a more expensive price at The Aln gift shop and the attitude of the woman who owns and works in The Aln Gift shop is to say the least shocking to my husband and me.Neil and Esther Toomey

I love this little gift shop; it has a lovely feel and is always welcoming and warm. Gifts range from cheap and cheerful to quite exclusive, and there are some lovely toys for children. I often buy gifts here as the things are unusual and often have a 'sea' theme.

ALL NOT WELCOME! only place round about insisting on wearing a mask, which I did not have. Rudely asked to wear a mask and clearly made to leave.

For the owner's information, Coronavirus is here to stay. If your business is to stay you need to adapt to changes.

Lovely time in the northeast on holiday, must of been in 30 plus little independent shops throughout the week with no problems, came to this 1 and was basically screamed at for not wearing a mask and asked to leave, a lost sale there
