We walked into the restaurant and was warmly welcomed by one of the managers that shown us the way to our reserved table. The attentive staff ensures a top-notch service. The food was exquisitely served and meticulously prepared. Each dish is beautifully presented and bursting with flavours. The desserts are very good too. This is one of my best restaurants now- quite a relaxed pace too - we were never rushed like in certain other places. Will go again!

We were located in a "dog friendly" area for a Sunday lunch to celebrate my birthday. The service was first class and nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious and the portions quite large. Would recommend.

Restaurant experience.
Reasonable mid range priced meal.
Pate starter rather bland. Could have had more taste with improved chutney.
My sister's bass was the best main. Good portion of fresh firm fillets and presented well.

Main issue was our orders didn't stay together and my main course arrived and ten minutes later still no sign of the other.
Not great starting alone before mine went totally cold. Needed two staff once attention caught to chase it up to learn the chef had just started cooking it!
My sister faced a major road closure each night nearby at 8pm so getting stressed and upset.
Asked to raise the matter with the manager but no one bothered to speak with us.
Ran out of time to consider getting a desert or to pursue the matter again.
We arrived nearly two hours before the road closure.
Unlikely to return again.

Sunday lunch with daughter and son in law. We were seated in the bar area as we booked very late. I was anticipating trouble but the table was fine - no issues. The restaurant was very busy and it looked as if they were a bit understaffed - we had VERY slow service but thtas not a problem when you have nothing planned. The food , as usual. was very good. Good choice of roasts for Sunday - the porchetta was very good indeed. We had the puddings charge deleted as the service had been so tardy so good response. I see from other reviews the service was an issue in many cases. I suggest they have waiters allocated to a set number of tables so you know who to look for when service is needed.|Not as good as the Bell at Alderminster - same group, different management!

I love the arrow mill. I have been going there pretty much since it opened! It has had its ups and downs. It ticks all the boxes now. The food is fabulous and fairly priced, the restoration and ambience is calm, traditional and thoughtful, the staff are friendly and efficient, the location a delight. There is lots to do in the area and this would be a perfect place to stay.

Just a few pals going for a beer. Wouldn't seem to be much to report. However the Arrow Mill Pub/Restaurant is worthy of much praise even for such a visit. The praise is for the venue itself, really attractive and welcoming atmosphere, wonderful building. Even more praise is for the staff, who I enjoyed observing.|Elliott was welcoming diners and made them feel the most important people he'd ever seen, Jack behind the bar was banter and efficiency personified, and showed perfectly the "team" approach at this venue by being kind and supportive to a relatively new and young member of staff.|It really is the small things that count, isn't it?

My wife went with her friends for a Xmas meal and picked up one of their New Year Vouchers. We had a meal last night and it was excellent with superb service. And when we opened the Voucher, we had a quarter taken off the bill.....😄👍

Only went for an evening meal. Excellent venue, very attractive inside and out. Food was super quality and plentiful. Good Gluten free range for me which is a rarely found in eating establishments. Prices were also good. Staff were very efficient and kind. Great range of beers, cocktails and spirits.My only gripe is that dogs should not be allowed anywhere in restaurants because of the smell and noise they create and that the vast majority of dog owners haven't bothered to train their dogs. I understand that venue owners want to attract dogs owners so they do have separate area for dog owners to eat which is a good idea. I say, leave your stinky, noisy dogs at home. All in all its a fab place to eat, drink or have a party. Even though its a two hour drive I would definitely return.
