I'm a 74-year-old pensioner. I was in this store on 16/12/2024. I spent about £45 on goods. It was about 12:30, lunchtime. I went to the cafe area and asked for the soup deal that is advertised "Over 60", I got the following response from a member of staff, "I don't think we've any left." No chicken, no tomato and no vegetable soups. Then she walked away. I was disappointed in that response. Again, I was in Asda 'Supercentre' on Wednesday 18/12/2024. It was before 13:12. I was with my wife. I bought goods worth £140+ (Inc vacuum cleaner). So I thought "it's a Supercentre, let's try the cafe again. Guess what? A different member of staff said, "I don't think we've got any left". No chicken, no tomato and no vegetable soups. Then she did an about turn and walked away. Has anyone been able to get the soup deal 'Over 60' soup option at this 'Supercentre'? From my experience it seems as though this promotion is a publicity stunt only. Designed to get only more money from pensioners. Look at other Supermarkets that care. I think Morrisons offers a far better service to pensioner customers. In fact it might be difficult to find a worse supermarket than Asda Wigan. Without the FALSE promises to deceive pensioners. I wish every pensioner a hearty and happy Christmas. Use anywhere else but not ASDA. Nobody cares, just read all the reviews. All they want is your money. ASDA PRICE. No service in this store. "I don't think I've got anything left" to say about Asda. Except "Cheapies".

If you are going to force me to self scan my items without the staff removing the security tags, don't then force security guards to check receipts when the alarm goes off.

I was shocked to find an insect inside a pack of cheese I bought from Asda. This is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about hygiene and quality control. I expect Asda to take responsibility and ensure this does not happen to other customers. Extremely disappointed!

Fantastic, My family have a lot of different dietary requirements, Wigan Asda is always my go to shop to find everything we need. Friendly gent in the bakery section is a diamond.

A super large scale general grocery store and should be called a megastore of note. If you want to get fit pop on over as goods are spread over many isles so be prepared for a walk. Large variety at Asda prices.
Very busy shop and fight for space. A site layout plan would be great With helpful floor staff not just interested in pack and sell. The self scanning is great but if you get chosen to get goods verified good luck as only 2 scanners on the floor with no rush to get you going. I left my frustrated shop basket with bag at the till as just had enough and staff not tooo bothered. Get more scanners!
I was in a rush and it didn’t turn out to be a quick shop. Later in the day went to the local store and got zapped again so it must have been my chosen day ! It also took longer as trainee was trying to learn the ropes.👎

Blonde girl at self checkout ignored me while serving every customer to my left, right and back. No apology when she finally got me and looked like she didn't want to be there or on drugs.

Rang Asda and the person who answered was rude and unprofessional, I asked to speak to someone else as there was a language barrier and I couldn’t understand most of what he was saying. He kept saying my name was “Gemma” n then when I said no that’s not my name he hung up.

Best Asda Iv been in and Iv been in a few and even put money in my bank at post office. And nice cup off tea in cafe
