I have ordered twice from here. Website easy to use. First order for my daughter was perfect, sponge was lovely and fresh. Second order for my son the cake was out of shape, the icing looked dirty and the sponge was dryer than the first time I ordered with very small amount of jam. They are lovely cakes so hopefully if I place an order again in the near future it comes has perfect has the first time

First time ordering. Ordered on Friday for delivery on Monday before 11.30am. Delivery arrived on time as promised by 8.30am. Cake was excellently baked and looked very well made. It's been a while since we have had a good traditional sponge cake and this one was no exception, the cake was fresh and tasted amazing. Will definitely use again and thanks for an amazing service.

I ordered a birthday cake for my husband. The smallest size they do. The cake was/is absolutely delicious. Not dry at all, the icing is really good. The only slight concern at the time was the delivery information didn't match with the delivery service. It arrived on time and in its time frame. I'll definitely be ordering here again.

I’m really loathe to write a negative review of a small business but my attempts to rectify the issue with the company have been completely ignored. I spent almost £80 for a celebration pack, including 3 helium balloons, a cake and candle. The cake was fine but I received just one balloon (not the balloon I ordered) which was completely deflated. The candle was completely missing. I sent an email, with photographic evidence and asked for help, they initially responded but once I asked for a partial refund, which I thought fair, I was completely ghosted. Chances are you might have a positive experience with this company, but is it worth taking that risk when you are planning for a special event. Really, really poor customer care. Go elsewhere.

Do not use this company !!! Cake arrived late, it was missing the cake toppers and candles which were part of the cake not add-ons. The cake was inedible - very dry with a thin layer of cake in the middle that was like cardboard (see photo) I was promised a full refund on 13th December 2024 but still have not received this and now they are not answering my emails or phone messages. Absolutely horrendous company - do not waste your money!!!!! If it was possible I would have given zero stars

The birthday cake I ordered arrived 2 days after the agreed delivery date. No one answered phones or responded promptly to emails. I was offered a belated birthday cake or credit but they eventually agreed to a refund but, nearly 3 weeks later, it hasn't arrived.

We placed an order for my Daughters birthday, nothing too difficult, Eeyore cake with topper and a helium balloon alongside. Cake arrived with the topping stuck to the box, no topper and the balloon was burst. Ok, so these things happen. We managed to salvage the situation in time for our little one's big day with a family friend. We did report this and were offered a 50% refund. For a cake we couldn't use, no topper, and a burst balloon. Sorry, not good enough. We asked for a full refund and were informed that this would be forthcoming. Yet here we are, 3 weeks later with unanswered emails and no refund of any description. I don't like leaving negative reviews but I dislike ignorance even more. The initial service was bad but the after sales service has been nothing short of disgusting.

Ordered a few times from bakerdays and I must say, the quality and the taste of the cakes are just amazing! I cannot wait to have an excuse to order again. 100% would recommend for those wanting a special cake.
