We got married at Birtsmorton Court in May and I cannot begin to describe how incredible the whole day was. From our very first visit of the venue, Lucy was absolutely amazing! She made us feel at ease with everything and nothing was too much to ask. She was always on hand with any queries and was such fun to have around on the day itself. The whole staff were incredible and the venue is just absolutely beautiful. All of our guests commented on what a beautiful and unique venue it was and how they hadn’t seen a venue like it! Our whole day from start to finish was beautiful and we cannot thank everyone at Birtsmorton enough, especially Lucy! Thank you again, we really wish we could do it all over again! Jess & Owen xx

Birtsmorton was the first place we looked at before booking and we really didnt need to look anywhere else. Not only is the venue beautiful but has extensive grounds. We visited several places which really are just the hall and a courtyard. Birtsmorton is in a league of its own, with vast gardens, lakes, a moat! We had really wanted to get married outside, and the venue had plenty of outside spaces to choose from. What we loved, was how laidback and down to earth the team are. Really supportive the whole way through and the level of communication is great. They're always happy to arrange a visit or a phone call. We just felt like they took the time to talk to us on a level where we felt they knew what was important to us. We had elderly guests with additional needs and they were very accommodating for us and really helpful. Our Coordinator, Naomi, even suggested a "First Look" in the White Garden. Something we hadnt thought about but actually was one of our favourite parts of the day. The evening team were also great, really fun and energetic. The team packed everything away for us (honestly, thank god for that). The venue itself is spotless, really beautiful and special. The gardens and grounds are incredibly well maintained. Everywhere you look is a photo op. The bar was great too, a good variety of drinks and they ask if you want anything special bringing in. We had worried at first about having to use one of their vendors for food, but there really is a good range. We used The Orchard and cant suggest them enough either. Other than that we had total freedom and they just had loads of really good suggestions. They totally put us at ease throughout the experience. We just had the best time and would 100% marry here again!

As a wedding photographer I can not recommend Birtsmorton Court highly enough. It's such an incredible wedding venue with so many beautiful areas for photos both inside and around the gorgeous grounds, it really is one of my absolute favourite venues to capture. Plus, the icing on the cake is that Lucy, Naomi, David and the whole Birtsmorton team are so good and will bend over backwards to make your day just perfect for you.

Birtsmorton Court is one of the most beautiful venues I have ever visited as a photographer. The staff are so friendly and accomodating, they bend over backwards for their couples and I'm happy to say that this is also a dog friendly venue! The moat is absolutely stunning and lends itself to well to photos and video. The White Garden is my personal favourite; a beautifully kept maze with a hidden garden inside..stunning! I love photographing here and hope to do so for many years to come.

I and my now Husband, got married here. This was the first place we visited for venue and the only one. It has beautiful 14th century building with moat around it and wonderful garden for outdoor wedding. everything is picturesque!!

Staff are absolutely amazing. special shout out to Lucy for being absolutely awesome wedding planner for us and taking excellent care of every guest!!

We got Married at Birtsmorton on 10 August 2023 and we had the most amazing day! The venue was absolutely stunning in each area of the gardens/ buildings.
We were lucky enough to set up the day before and had the chance to speak to the gardeners who were so helpful and friendly.
Lucy was our coordinator and nothing was ever too much trouble for her. She was so lovely and friendly and made us feel completely at ease because she took care of everything! Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and we are so grateful to Lucy and the team, thank-you! Jack and Rhi x

Where do we begin …
I personally wouldn’t class Birtsmorton as a wedding ‘venue’ it feels more like a huge home shared with family , family being the Birtsmorton team. From getting engaged in December 2022 we then began our search for our dream wedding in August 2023 , we liked the idea of abroad but ultimately wanted all of our family with us. We also wanted the wedding to feel more than just 1 day , we had visited only one other venue which felt very rushed and more of a in and out process. One final requirement was for the venue to be dog friendly as we were set on having our fur baby Daisy part of the big day.

My husband ! Then found Birtsmorton after searching for a ‘weekend’ wedding venue , we was sceptical as it was a slight distance for some to travel however , on our first visit we met Lucy and herself and the breathtaking ‘venue’ and grounds sold it to us. She made efforts to work around dates we had in mind and worked effortlessly with us up until our final wedding planning meeting when we was then introduced to Naomi who then continued to work with us. We officially booked in August 2023 with Lucy however, during January 2024 we moved to Hungary for a work opportunity of my Husbands , during this time I had taken my role as wedding planner very seriously, being very specific and particular. Working with Naomi was better than I could have ever imagined , she understood all of our visions and wishes and made them happen even better than we ( I ) could have imagined. Naomi truly felt apart of our wedding party , we did try and convince her to join the party at one point! There isn’t words to thank the whole team enough. We also had a lovely young man take over from Naomi on the evening ( sadly had one too many at this point and are not 100% on his name 🥲) but for him to take over just as our wedding breakfast had finished and continue to run things seamlessly was just amazing. When we say the whole team at Birtsmorton it’s not an exaggeration; the housekeepers keeping on top of bed changes , groundsman ensuring everywhere looked immaculate, I could go on.

A week later and everyone is still talking about our day , if we could we’d do it again in a heartbeat.
