If I could give 0 stars I would. This is the worst doctors office there is. They are slow and take forever to get with you even you arrive 10-20 minutes early. Why does it take 1 hour+ to be seen just for a physical? The place wasn’t packed at the time I came. This is why I don’t like coming here. Please take your kids somewhere else

The medical facility on Pleasant row is horrible. The employees, one lady in the pharmacy and one lady at the desk up stairs by the pharmacy are smart assess to people that just need general help or just trying to sign in. It’s sad that they even have a job the way they treat people. Even the doctor want let you ask questions not even a word in edge wise. It’s wild. Literally will never recommend this place ever! If I could rate it 0stars I 100% would.

Worst doctors visit I have ever experienced. Came into my appointment early. The doctor was 3 hours late due to a “procedure” taking longer than expected. Then he came in he had blood splattered all over him. Didn’t wash his hands when he entered my room. The room had trash on the seat and the floors left over from who knows when. He was supposed to send 2 referrals and forgot to send one of them. Don’t try calling because they never answer the phone. It’s overall terrible. I will be finding a new primary care doctor.

This is the most rudest doctor office ever. Dr. Vera is not an understanding doctor and doesn’t seem to care with an attitude. Why would you ask a patient why did they come to you? And this from my daughter visit due to not being able to get in touch with her own doctor. So unprofessional and this is not the first issue.

I’ve been visiting this office for the last three years. In the last year the service has gone downhill. I arrived for my appointment 15 minutes early, I wasn’t brought into a room until almost 2 hours later. No apology, no nothing. My bp was taken in the hallway. I was seated in a room that wasn’t clean. I will attach picture. On this particular visit (1-26-24) I was given a medication that required prior authorization from my insurance. Today is February 29th and the prior authorization still hasn’t been done. The Nurse Tameka/Taneka called said it wasn’t covered and she couldn’t do electronically. Tameka informed me to call express scripts. I did, it is covered. She would have to call in a verbal authorization or fax it in, or check the fax machine because expresss scripts has sent her prior authorization form for this particular med on three different occasions. She does not answer her phone or respond to voice mails. The pharmacy also reached out with no response as well. Dr. Williams is a very good doctor, but the providers are only as good as their support staff. Please don’t respond with a generic apology and phone number that no one ever answers. Do better Central North Huntsville. Actually use these reviews and make changes and train your staff on customer service and proper turn around time for medication/email request. 24 business days is absolutely unacceptable. Also the room does not contain cavi wipes or Lysol wipes. The sinks are filthy and the floors are not clean in the lobby and patient rooms. Oh I also forgot I saw a NP Moses for a referral. She never put it in. She called me back in January asking me did I get my referral. My appointment with her was in October of 2023. She even did me a solid and ordered me some meds I never even requested from her.

Ok, come here to leave a message for Adda L. Smith to update her mailing address, because all her medical papers are arriving in my mailbox, those from HUMANA and those from social security, I have been receiving them for years. Years ago I went to the social security offices to notify them and they have not done anything . I also notified the post office and they did nothing.

On Oct. 5 I had an appointment at Central North Alabama Health Services – Huntsville Family Health Services to get a referral authorization renewal for a hand doctor specialist that I need to see after having hand surgery in February. I needed to have the referral authorization renewed for a November 9th appointment at the specialist’s office. I was told on Oct. 5 that it would be taken care of, and Central North Alabama Health Services billed my insurance and has since been paid. No referral authorization request was ever initiated. I’ve called many times and was transferred to the referral staff member. She never answered her phone and her voicemail was full each time I was transferred. I’ve had two cases opened, visited in person and sent two emails. No response by this office as of today – Nov. 2. I’ve since changed doctors and will get a referral from them. In my opinion - Central North Alabama Health Services – Huntsville Family Health Services has been paid for a service they didn’t provide. They don’t care at all about their patients, answering cases that have been opened, answering emails, and providing someone to help when problems arise.

Checked in online like it said I must. Sat there for almost an hour before deciding to make sure it showed I checked in. It didn't. So I was marked as a no show. Then I could not see my doctor. It's hard to get into my doctor. She is only there mainly Tuesdays. They offered me to see another doctor. I refused. I do not want to switch doctors. The only time I get an appointment is to go the building.
