Location is nice .. but the track to the house should be carefully navigated... Can't properly comment on the rooms due to it only being a birthday dinner... But the staff and service were very good... Food was nice.. roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding's were beautiful... House is nice and well kept.. just no end of pot holes on the track in...

I booked Cockliffe Country House for a Celebration of Life event for my mother and would highly recommend! I booked the large event space for 100 people and it was absolutely stunning, with beautiful fairy lights, enough tables and chairs for all guests, delicious food, and a good bar too. The staff were so accommodating from start to finish - allowing us to visit beforehand to ensure we liked the premises, letting us set up our own personal mementos the day before the event, and then providing excellent service on the day. They even added some extra decorations around the room to make my mum's send off extra special. I would definitely consider booking the venue for future events.

This review is purely based on the approach drive at the place. Absolutely disgraceful. Scraping the bottom of my car due to the potholes. Quite a few people at the wedding reception were complaining. The venue itself was first class with excellent service. But they must get the road sorted. I would imagine it would be slightly better in summer, but I wouldn't touch the place in winter

Came to the Cockliffe for a wedding reception. Excellent place to have a wedding as they provide for everything in one place. Everything ran as it should with no incidents. I would say that the food was average. I had the chicken, which I thought was a little tough,as other people who had the same said. I saw quite a few plates with food left in them and these places as you know don't load your plates up . After the wedding ceremony it was lovely outside ,so plenty of area outside to walk about . They served mini burgers and several other snacks which were very nice . All in all a great day for the happy newly weds .

My Daughter and Son in Law had their Wedding at Cockliffe yesterday. It was an absolutely beautiful day. The food was lovely, the bedrooms were beautiful and we had a great breakfast. Would certainly recommend as a Wedding venue. Thank you to all the staff at Cockliffe for looking after us.

Beautiful place surrounded by some gorgeous gardens. Staff were wonderful. Food was phenomenal and our family room was comfortable for all of us. 4 star is only because of the smell emitted by the septic tanks in the garden, can’t be helped but it was commented on by most people there that day.

We had our wedding here on 9th June 2024 and looking back on my experience, I wouldn't have it any other way! Beautiful venue, lovely staff, excellent customer service and amazing ongoing support from planning to execution on the big day! We absolutely recommend Cockliffe Country House to everyone as they have proven they can make any event fantastic! ❤️

Enjoyed a fab wedding here. The canopies & bubbly were a welcome opening to the proceedings. The room was beautiful & the food good. During the 'disco' we oldies might have appreciated a quieter place to sit & talk more comfortably, but other than that, a great time was had by all, in a great venue.
