On a quest to find the best hot chocolate drink, I came to Coco Noir. I was pleasantly surprised and very happy!

Their hot chocolate is made with ~75% chocolate chocolate shavings (not powder) and prepared into a brilliant blend. The drink is not hot chocolate milk or like melted chocolate.

It brings together the flavor of Belgium dark chocolate with the smoothness of an expert drink.

Would definitely recommend ✨️

The atmosphere was also quite relaxed and bright. I loved the touch of the single rose. on each table 🌹

I love this place. The owner is super friendly and welcoming. Came here every morning before work and was greeted with tasty coffee and a wide array of sweet treats from croissants to cakes and pralines.
The atmosphere is amazing with many regulars (of whom the owner remembers their favorite drink and treat). The background music has a nice vibe to it and 'Take Five' is a personal highlight that will stay with me for a while.
If you are looking for a sweet present he also offers a wide array of chocolate and praline to choose from.
There's also wifi available to do some remote work in a cosy place.

Can't recommend it enough and beats all the big coffee chains in the area. So do yourself a favor and drop by.

There is a strong bad smell after dogs, there are a lot of dogs hair on the tables, it’s not hygienic.
PS. Must change the mark for the awful attitude to me. The owner is not polite and does not respect people. I checked overviews and he allowed himself so much to get personal with people who put him not 5 stars. He is leading a business and must accept positive and negative reviews. I appreciated the food and his service in my first overview, but it was a mistake, he humiliated me in his reply. It’s terrible. I will share with other people. The client should not care about the availability of the tables for the other clients, it should be done by the owner. So I did not catch anything from a strange person who does not know what it is “customer focus”.

A quaint and authentic french experience.
I had lots of hot chocolate and biscuits in a warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
The owner is called Madgid and he is absolutely adorable.
I look forward to my next visit

This is undoubtedly the best in Oxford! My commute from London to Oxford becomes bearable everytime I drop by here for a nice warm welcome & the best coffee, cakes, chocolates & more.. & oh, gelato is served here too!

Best chocolates for miles and the selection varies so often something quite new - a real treat. Great staff too.
