Nov 2019 I like this store. It has gluten free products and you can take a wheel chair down the isles. The service is friendly and the food is fresh. There is a small car park as well. You can park if you are disabled. They are very supportive of the local community and I recommend the food tasting. These photos are from their community celebration day. I recommend becoming a coop member if you are local because 1% of coop brand products from your shopping will be donated to local charities and it makes a big difference to them. Oh and the store is clean and smells nice.

Lewis is the absolute MAN. So positive takes real pride in his work always really polite and brings a breath of fresh air to the place. I don’t know what you’re paying him but you need to double it. Top bloke.

I popped into this store this evening approximately 5.30 to make a purchase, however on this occasion I didn’t want to use the self scan till.
I went to the tills to be greeted by no one.
I waited patiently for a staff member to see me. After a few moments a staff member came over and went behind the desk and ignored me. She carried on doing whatever she was doing without any acknowledgment to me or the other customer who had joined me in the queue.

I have been to this store a few times and witnessed this before even though there are staff around filling shelves. Very disappointing.

I didn’t stay and purchased elsewhere…

Really great Co-op! We really miss the one that was on Charlton Road. SO sad about that and miss those guys terribly!! But grateful for this shop too. They work hard and create a nice surrounding (FOR the most part - sometimes There are some workers in there who just are sloppy and can't be bothered - thankfully they are the 'minority') VERY good selections (VERY expensive to do a 'weeks shop' but!! DECENT and good quality.. and SUCH A saving grace to have so close by.. Good job guys on such a great AND clean friendly store!!

Majority of staff very pleasent, would not say the same for management, there is a sour old lady that works here. On more than one occasion she has made my shop a negative experience. The last time she refused to serve me as I was paying by cash, i informed her I had lost my card and she kept demanding I pay by contacless, unfortunately I coudent. She aventully gave in and served me and gave me a lecture about paying by cash adding to the negativity I had already been sucome to. I do not have her name but on my next visit I will be sure to make a note and add to this review.

Note to all customers, stay well away from the old misrable women.
