Lovely traditional jewellers , my husband and me went last Saturday to buy a present for our granddaughters 1st birthday , as I couldn’t find anything online . I’m so glad we did what a lovey experience we had from when we looked in the windows to the lovely friendly service from all the girls. Nothing was to much trouble, Lyn, Sharon and phillipa who took time to listen and make sure we were happy . We ended up with a beautiful piece of quality jewellery

Bought my first Seiko divers watch at Coxs in 1989 at the old Market Row branch. I also have another Seiko but a solar model. Just wondered if Coxs can do a professional service in a controlled environment regarding my watches if needed in the future ? I've also seen a special edition Seiko automatic divers that i like very much... a deep blue colour. I've never had an automatic before but love the sweep second hand movement. Well I’m back again! Another lovely morning at Cox’s thank you very much to all the ladies who kindly helped me to find 8 gifts. It’s just fabulous, I walk in with a list, I’m shown to a comfy seat, I give a little bit of information about who I’m buying for and lots of choices are brought to me. It was a lot of gifts to buy but nothing was overly expensive the total came to £100, brilliant. It’s the easiest and stress free way to shop with very friendly staff. Customer service is superb. Look how wonderfully everything was wrapped. The little unwrapped box was for me! The best jewellers in town. Thank you once again to everyone at Cox’s 😍

I took my 25 year old wedding ring in to Coxs, as I was hoping to give it to my daughter for her wedding day. It was misshapen and tarnished. Coxs did and amazing restoration on it, and now it’s as good as new! Very pleased indeed! Thank you Cox’s I highly recommend this Jewellery shop top quality retailers!

7 years ago myself and my partner bought my engagement ring here from the wonderful Owner the old Mr Cox at the we paid £7500 for the ring and had a wonderful experience. FAST FORWARD…..August 2024 we went in to ask if the ring could be polished, when we arrived the younger Mr Cox was there with 2 other women, yet we stood at the counter for 15 minutes before we were even acknowledged.
This isn’t the customer service I would expect from this shop, it wouldn’t have taken any of them a few seconds to say “we won’t be long” or “we will be with you soon” just out of common curtsey, yet we were completely ignored. These staff members including Mr Cox need a lesson in customer service. When the lady decided to speak to us we were looked up and down like we shouldn’t have even been there. I produced the receipt for her the ring for her to see the that it was purchased there.
I had intend to have the ring cleaned and polished and was looking for some nice diamond ear rings, due to the pure ignorance and the way we were looked up and down I just asked for my ring back and left. These people need to take a leaf out of the old Mr cox’s books who was kind, considerate and never judged anyone. So unless you are dressed head to toe in Gucci and waving big wads of money these people will just ignore you. Spend your money else where unless these people learn some manners and respect. I would never go here again out of principle.

My husband purchased me an eternity ring with the “Wow” factor for my 50th birthday. Served by Sharon who helped see what would suit with my wedding and engagement rings which also come from Cox’s , we changed the stones from sapphire to Amethyst . “Cox’s a proper jewellers ,with fabulous, friendly service, nothing too much trouble!”
