I booked the Aqua 1 hall for our son's first birthday at the Crystal Club Wembley. I initially dealt with Kiruba and Janani who made clear what was available, prices and dates and paid an initial 10% deposit.

A week before my event I confirmed the guest numbers, the food choices and paid the balance. I then spoke to Jas and finalised the details for the event. I went with the venue for all items except Photo, Cake, Alcohol and DJ

Decoration Set-up & Parking:
Excellent decoration all completed well ahead of our scheduled start time. Parking is always a bit chaotic there but was expertly managed by the onsite security personnel who kindly held a reserved slot for my car in-front of the venue and gave people vouchers to the overflow carpark once the main car park was full

Food & Alcohol
What can I say? - the food is always on point at Crystal, managed expertly with the guests and positive comments from all guests on the starters, main course and desserts! I paid corkage and had my own drinks, we were provided with cups, ice-cubes and bar nibbles

Other items
The event was held on a day that reached 33 degrees the AC was on but it was still quite warm but the management did what they could to control the temperature. Music - please do note that if you are next door to an event that has loud music this will be audible in the hall you are in (as the walls are quite thin). We were given a gold dance floor rather than an LED dance floor but this didn't detract from the overall experience (and was a freebie thrown in). Choose not to have sparklers for the entrance as with the temperature and the smoke would have been uncomfortable for the guests.

Overall a 5* great experience managed well by Jas, Kiruba and Janani and the rest of the brilliant Crystal team!

Restrooms need updating. Hall is good size. Catering and staff were lovely. One star less as the hall needs some TLC which would bring my score to 5 stars if refurbished.
Stairs are slightly lethal when wet for example.
They do have disabled restroom with baby changing facility but these aren't cleaned regularly enough.
Lift access which is also bonus but again needs to be cleaned and smell needs to be addressed.
Otherwise would be a great venue for smaller events.
Small car park onsite which is useful but more parking nearby as the venue is near Wembley arena.

DO NOT BOOK HERE!!! Save yourself the money and the hassle and don’t book with this scam of a venue. Everything we asked for was not done, even the food we picked out was not what we asked for. There was one lamb dish and rice with salad Were the guests supposed to eat rice and salad if they don’t eat lamb even though we asked for a chicken dish as well which he said we lied about and then went back on his words saying he forgot. We paid extra to get specific coloured flowers and he put other colours that AGAIN WE DID NOT ASK FOR. Everything he promised such as covering the ugly carpet was not done. The sofa he placed was ugly and dirty and even that he promised to cover with flowers which he did not do. All the owner knows how to do is take money and argue when we complained. The place stinks and the toilets are disgusting beyond belief. The only thing I can’t fault is the two female staff who helped because they really tried to help out as much as they can but the owner is a scammer and a liar. An actual scam of a place!! Any good reviews are either pure lies or he did not want to make our event special. The bride was extremely unhappy and the owner did not even care. May this business receive bad karma for the disaster they did.

PLEASE DO NOT BOOK YOUR EVENT WITH THIS COMPANY

We booked Crystal Clubs for our mum's 60th birthday to provide their catering, decor, DJ, and venue. All confirmed in May and the deposit was paid.

Just less than 2 weeks before the event, we called KIRUBA to ask when we should come in to select the food and pay the balance. To our surprise, he replied that he couldn't accommodate us for the date because there was an event scheduled at Wembley Stadium that would prevent anyone from entering that road. He basically told us to let our guests walk or reschedule our event for another day and showed no remorse. He was very defensive, claiming that Wembley Stadium had scheduled that event on short notice. Upon calling Wembley Stadium to query, they told me that they started selling tickets early this year (ca. February 2023), months before we called Kiruba to secure our date. We informed Kiruba that he messed up & should take responsibility for finding another venue. We called him numerous times for updates and he wouldn`t answer our calls. We had to use different phone numbers to get hold of him.
When he finally answered, he told us to look for a new venue as he didn't have time to do it. We spent 4 days looking for another venue and when we finally found one, Kiruba demanded that we pay half the price of the new venue hire, saying it wasn't his fault. We disagreed and pushed back as much as we could. After much chasing, he found another venue for us and asked to come by to pay off the balance and insisted on just accepting cash. I told him that I couldn't bring cash and he eventually agreed to card payment after another lengthy debate.

On the event day, a number of issues occurred, and Kiruba's sheer ignorance went beyond any professionalism, as if he was attempting to take revenge on us since he had to pay for the new venue out of his own pocket. When I arrived at the venue at 5:10pm, the décor team was just unloading and estimated it would take an hour to complete despite agreeing to 5 p.m. We had many people waiting due to this. No welcome drinks were prepared and the waiters phoned Kiruba who's team then delivered the welcome drinks at 6:25pm. The background with the word "Happy Birthday" on it didn't work properly (see photo). They didn't bring the correct tablecloth we asked for and even had tables without any decorations. Our family members had to step in and assist them.

When starters were served, we noticed that guests were concerned, disgusted, and unhappy with the food's quality. The Mutton roll smelt so bad that guests got up and returned it to the waiters. The waiters immediately took them off the table and confirmed it was spoiled. Imagine how uncomfortable it was for us as hosts to have to urge guests to stop eating the Mutton Rolls. Overall, they just didn't bring enough food. We had 70-75 people and the food was barely enough for 50 people. I was on the phone with him countless times until he delivered more food, but our guests didn't bother to return for more. Not a single guest said anything positive about Crystal's service that night. When I requested him to come over (10min drive), he stated he wouldn't waste his time fixing a low-budget event and would rather accept the bad feedback than issue a refund or compensation.

I have dealt with hundreds of business people, but this KIRUBA person is one of the biggest liars, money greedy, and most importantly one of the biggest scammers I have ever encountered.
Others at Crystal Clubs such as staff, waiters, decorators, and DJ were all friendly and handled the situation very professionally. The entire party would have been destroyed if they had not been present, a big thank you to them.

SCAMMER!! DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS PLACE. Honestly it is such a shame because the owner kept promising things and did not do any of them. We paid extra for things and it was not done. The place stinks and it is disgusting. The toilet was disgusting. This whole place is a mess and I would not recommend this place to even my worse enemy. The owner or manager or whatever he was just cares about money and nothing else. Actually disgusting behaviour from these scammers.
