Wow where do we begin! We had an absolutely incredible wedding at Elmore. Elmore was recommend to us by a friend and we knew as soon as we got there it was the wedding venue for us. Everyone we dealt with were so helpful and friendly nothing was too much trouble.

The food was amazing all our guests said how good it was and how attentive all the staff were. No one had an empty glass at welcome drinks!

A special mention to Alice our wedding co ordinator she really thought of everything and was on hand all day to make sure we were ok and if we needed anything. If you would like a wedding venue of dreams then Elmore is certainly the one! We couldn’t have asked for a better day. Thank you to everyone at Elmore what a day it was ☺️ wish we could do it all again!

We got married at Elmore court in September and honestly could not recommend it enough. Everything about it was incredible. We booked our date 2.5 years in advance, and the planning process was made so easy by the coordinators who were there to help with every question we had - and there were a lot! On the big day, the whole team were absolutely amazing - all of our guests commented on how every member of staff went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a good time - from our incredible coordinator Esther, to the bar and waiting staff and even the groundsmen who helped carry our dog who was being stubborn! Nothing was too much trouble, even last minute table plan changes happened with complete ease and no stress. Every little detail was thought about to help the day go smoothly.
The food was gorgeous - the canapés, wedding breakfast and the breakfast the next day for those who stayed were all soooo good.
All the bedrooms were stunning, including the coach house which was such a treat for the bridal party to stay in the night before.

Team Elmore, where to even begin on the best day ever.

Elmore Court was recommended to us by one of our bridesmaids and our close friend Andy, who also happens to be our photographer. When we asked Andy, "Where have you photographed that you’d recommend?" he didn’t hesitate—Elmore Court was his top choice. He said the Venue is stunning, its warm, inviting and truly special, plus the people there are incredible to work with, so accommodating, professional and they really take care of you.

From the moment we drove through the gates on a wet and rainy day for our viewing, we knew this was somewhere special. Even in the rain, the venue was breathtaking—warm, inviting, and filled with charm. Every detail, from the decadent rooms brimming with history and antiques to the stained-glass windows in the Main Hall and Drawing Room, was captivating. And then there’s the Gillyflower—a unique, stunning space with beautiful lighting, incredible warmth, and floor-to-ceiling windows that bring the outside in. Elmore Court truly has it all.

Fast forward two years, and we were lucky enough to work with the wonderful Esther as our wedding coordinator. From start to finish, she was incredible—so composed, attentive, and reassuring. Every email, every discussion about timings, suppliers, and food, Esther had it all in hand, making us feel calm and in control. On the big day, she orchestrated everything perfectly, even managing to keep the surprise of a violinist playing a special song for Kim’s walk down the aisle a secret, despite Jamie’s constant questions about music and playlists!

Food and drink were huge priorities for us, and Elmore delivered beyond our expectations. From the delicious canapés to the locally sourced mains and perfectly paired wines, every bite was exceptional. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the quality and generosity of the food and drink, with staff making sure everyone’s glasses were always topped up during the reception.
The music setup was another big focus for us.

Andy had mentioned that Elmore Court has one of the best-sounding spaces for live bands, and he wasn’t wrong. The Gillyflower, with its Funktion-One sound system and eco-friendly, soundproofed walls, is every musician's dream. So much so that I chose to play during the evening with my band, and it was an unforgettable experience.

Since the wedding, so many of our guests have commented that Elmore Court is the most unique and beautiful venue they’ve ever seen. It perfectly balances old-world charm and modern design, creating a space that’s truly magical. From our cozy stay in the Coach House the night before to the seamless flow of the wedding day itself, the afterparty in the Drawing Room, and breakfast in the grand Dining Room the morning after, every single moment is now a beautiful memory for us.

Team Elmore, you made all our dreams come true. We’ll be reminiscing for years to come, and if we could do it all over again, we would. Fingers crossed we’ll be back one day as guests, but until then, we’d wholeheartedly recommend Elmore Court to anyone.

The Best Weekend of Our Lives – Becoming the Powells

From the moment we set eyes on Elmore Court, we knew it was the perfect place for us to get married. The venue is breathtakingly beautiful, with a charm that instantly captivated us.

Our journey began with a tour led by the amazing Alice. She instantly connected with us and truly understood our personalities, making us feel so at ease. Her warmth and authenticity made us wish for her as our coordinator.

Fate had an interesting plan for us, as we worked with three different coordinators throughout our two-year planning process. First, we met the fantastic Annie, followed by the sensational Kat, whose legendary expertise at Elmore reassured us every step of the way. When Kat moved into a new role, she told us Alice would take over—and it felt like the perfect full-circle moment.

Our vision for the wedding was very specific. Coming from military families, we wanted the event to reflect a classic elegance, and Elmore Court naturally lent itself to creating the atmosphere we dreamed of. From start to finish, the team was incredibly kind and accommodating, even as I—an admittedly detail-driven, "A-type" bride—made numerous requests. Despite some initial challenges, the team always came back with thoughtful solutions, especially considering the logistics of hosting 200 guests.

A highlight of our weekend was staying in the Coach House from Thursday. Everything was prepared for us, including a lovely note and chocolates from Alice. It was such a personal touch and made the start of the weekend feel even more magical. Breakfast in the Coach House on Friday and Saturday mornings was delightful, as was dining in the main house on other occasions.

Friday was a special day as we celebrated both my and my cousin’s birthdays. Dinner in the dining room was set up beautifully, and the Great Hall hosted a lively party afterward. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the stunning staircase, the cozy drawing room, and the overall grandeur of the venue.

Saturday was everything we hoped for and more. Thanks to Alice and our planner, the day unfolded seamlessly, leaving us free to savor every moment. The confetti line was picture-perfect, and the transition to the Gillyflower left our guests in awe. From the flowers to the décor, everything was stunning. The food was exceptional, and the dance floor reveal was a showstopper.

The party was unforgettable. The Gillyflower’s sound system is phenomenal, and the fireworks were the perfect ending to an incredible day. Nearly a month later, people are still talking about it, and we can’t help but feel proud of how perfect it all was.

Of course, no event is without its hiccups. The move from the Coach House to the main house on the wedding day felt hectic, and I did lose a few items in the process, which was disappointing. I wish there had been a bit more time or assistance with this transition, but in the grand scheme, it didn’t diminish the joy of the day.

Alice, you are a star. Your patience, kindness, and dedication made our experience truly unforgettable. To the entire Elmore Court team: thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We will miss you more than words can express. Please don’t forget us—we will never forget you.

From the minute we viewed Elmore Court, we both knew it was where we wanted to get married.

The different spaces throughout the house, overnight accommodation, flexibility with suppliers and surroundings were all a massive plus compared to other venues we visited. The treehouses were also a big plus - some of our closest family enjoyed a couple of nights stay there so they could be on site the night before too.

On the day, the food and drinks were amazing - we had so many compliments from guests and the spritz bar in the evening went down a treat!

A special thank you to Alice who was absolutely incredible and had thought of every little detail. Her presence put us both as ease and ensured our day ran smoothly.

Where to begin! Everything went so smoothly, and it was all so perfect - especially all the little nuances that were so important to us like special drinks and canapes we requested. Alice our assigned wedding planner really did a phenomenal job and we really appreciate it. A few of our friends even commented about us being greeted with drinks by Alice when we came out the ceremony saying how nice that must of been - and it was definitely needed. Alice was there all day making sure everything went perfectly, doing last minute printing, making sure my veil and bouquet were safely stored when no longer needed and she kept me so calm when I was so anxious, we definitely needed that support.

We always knew Elmore court was the right choice, but Alice and the rest of the team just made it that much more perfect, it really added that special touch, making sure everything ran perfectly while still treating us so well!

And the food! We have had nothing but rave reviews about the food, it was exceptional, by far the best food we or any of our guests have ever eaten at a wedding. I was so full I had to loosen my corset! And we loved that it was all sustainably sourced. The drinks prices in the evening were much more reasonable than other venues we'd been guests as too.

The venue itself is beautifully maintained, the house full if character, so individual and gorgeous, while the gillyflower is modern, cool and sleek in such a unique way,

From the moment we pulled through those big gates and up the drive, we knew Elmore was the one. We booked it there and then for two years later and made the best decision possible! We went with a long Thursday, so had access to the house from the night before the wedding - another amazing decision! We chose to have a big BBQ and invite all of our day guests so they could get to know eachother before the big day. We had amazing food (still need that beef brisket recipe!), had lawn games, and Elmore even helped us host a screening of the euro-semi finals. The wedding day itself couldn't have been more perfect. Our wedding coordinator was Jasmine and she couldn't have done more for us, from answering our countless emails to running with 20 seconds to spare to help me stick a photograph back on my bouquet right before I walked down the aisle. She was incredible. The day itself was also amazing - the hall looked amazing for our ceremony, and people commented on how it was the nicest wedding venue they'd ever been to. It really is a mix of all tastes - old meets new here so you have a bit of everything. The food was also amazing. I am gluten free and the venue managed to make all the canapes gluten free for me in case I wanted to help myself to more. Multiple people noted about how great the food was as well. Overall we just had the best day ever, we wish we could do it all again - nothing went with a hitch and we will be talking about it for years to come!! We got married at Elmore Court in July and had the most incredible day! The house, Gillyflower and the grounds are all stunning. Thank you to all the Elmore team, especially our coordinator Lily, for all their help along the way and on the day, it went so smoothly! Also a special shout out to the kitchen staff, they made a bespoke menu for us and the food was fabulous, we've had so many compliments. Would highly recommend, it's a magical place ✨
