Highly Recommended - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We recently had the pleasure of hiring the Event Music Company, specifically Trio Vivo, to perform at our wedding on July 1st, 2023. Let me start by saying that Lucinda, Chris, and the entire team were absolutely incredible, and their performance was nothing short of perfection.

Trio Vivo consists of Lucinda on the cello, Chris on the violin, and Michael on the piano. These three talented musicians played in perfect harmony throughout the entire event. They worked tirelessly from the moment our guests arrived in the chapel until the end of the meal, ensuring that every moment was accompanied by the most beautiful and elegant music.

One aspect that impressed us the most was their ability to tailor the music to the audience and read the room perfectly. During the canapés and downtime, they played recognizable Disney songs that instantly captivated the children. It was a joy to see the kids light up with excitement. And when it came time to eat, Trio Vivo seamlessly transitioned into playing beautiful classical music, creating a sophisticated and enchanting atmosphere for everyone to enjoy.

We were thrilled to hear that nearly all of our 100+ guests approached us throughout the day to express their admiration for Trio Vivo. Their ability to read the room and play the right music at the right time was exceptional. Our guests were not only impressed with their musical talents but also with their professionalism and approachability. It was evident that Trio Vivo genuinely cared about making our wedding day special, and they succeeded beyond our expectations.

As we know, music can make or break a wedding, so we took our time researching and finding the perfect musicians. In our opinion, Trio Vivo was in a league of their own, surpassing any other performers in the Yorkshire area and I would possibly even go as far as saying the entire country. Their skill, passion, and attention to detail were simply unmatched.

Both Hannah and I cannot express enough gratitude for everything Trio Vivo did to create the most beautiful day for us on this very special occasion. We wholeheartedly give them a 5-star rating and highly recommend the Event Music Company to anyone seeking a truly exceptional musical experience.

We chose The Event Music Company to provide the evening entertainment - Chris Hilton's Little Big Band - for our wedding and they were absolutely fantastic. Brilliant performers, great singer, and made sure everybody was up and dancing until the very end! We would highly recommend to anybody looking for a band for their wedding or any other celebration.

Chris and Lucinda are absolute pros -- communication and logistics were quick and simple, and made planning the music for our reception so smooth. We first encountered Event Music Company at a Wedding Fair at Rudding Park in 2020. Within moments of seeing their setup and hearing their music we knew that they would fit perfectly into our wedding day.

Chris and Lucinda are wonderfully talented musicians, backed by a dedicated team of musicians and technicians to power a complete production including (but not limited to) a broad selection of lighting, sound, and live music.

We attended an open evening at the EMC showroom in Harrogate, where we had an opportunity to learn more about their options within a small group setting. I would highly recommend this as you really get to connect with Chris and Lucinda, as well as some of their live band who will happily play songs on request. It's a relaxed evening with nibbles and drinks, with no obligation to proceed - but trust me, you'll be sold many times over after hearing and seeing what they offer!

We opted for Trio Vivo for the ceremony, drinks reception, and wedding reception, as well as Chris Hilton's Little Big Band for the evening, with Chris (on violin) in addition for our first dance. We also went for their sparkling LED dancefloor, starlit backdrop, uplighters, twinkly lights for pillars and the full ceiling. The whole setup transformed the Rudding Park Radcliffe Room, a venue that they are no strangers to given their 5-star status in the region.

We worked closely with Chris and Lucinda on specific requests, one was around a song for our first dance, and the other was to play some Bulgarian folk music which Chris took a real interest in during our meeting over coffee.

Sure enough, during the Wedding Breakfast, Trio Vivo proceeded to play several Bulgarian folk songs which got our guests up singing and dancing before the main had even been served! It was a truly memorable moment for us that could not have been were it not for the dedication to their craft and desire to entertain. The fact that they had taken the time to learn the music and perform it so beautifully when they had no obligation to do so really stood out to us.

We'd have no hesitation in recommending Event Music Company to anyone with lighting, production, and/or live music needs.

From start to finish Trio Vivo and Chris Hilton’s Little Big Band were absolutely faultless. The booking process was easy and they are experts at catering the package to suit your day.
All our guests loved the music all day, we initially had just booked Trio Vivo but after hearing the band on an open evening adding the Little Big Band to the evening was a brilliant choice! They kept the party going all night, really added so much to the whole day and a perfect finish. In our opinion very reasonably priced for the talent you get and professionalism throughout means you don’t need to worry one bit - 100% would recommend to anyone booking! We hired Trio Vivo for our wedding drinks reception and also Chris Hilton's Little Big Band for the evening and were so happy we decided to use Event Music Company for our wedding. Despite us having to postpone our wedding by a year they were so flexible with regards to changing dates and were also very accommodating with the ever-changing covid guidelines. We were able to have the majority of our evening reception outside so everybody could dance and even when the rain started, they were able to quickly move back into the venue with no hassle. All of our guests commented on how fantastic both Trio Vivo and the Little Big Band were and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend or use Event Music Company again in the future. We can't thank Lucinda and Chris enough!

We visited Chris and Lucinda's show room for their opening evening, in view of using their lighting facilities, after seeing Instagram pics of other weddings at Rudding Park and knew we wanted something similar at our wedding.

Chris and Lucinda are really friendly and the whole process was great throughout. The communication was excellent and they gave us no reason to think they wouldn't deliver as planned for our big day (one less thing to worry about). I stuck my head in the main room early doors and everything looked amazing. For anyone getting married at Rudding Park (Radcliffe Room) the white star cloth back drop (which covers the doors by the stage) looks amazing as did the rest of the lighting we requested. Highly recommended!!

We had already decided on going a different way with our music but the Trio Vivo and Little big band sounded amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed the opening evening. They would be a great addition to compliment anyone's big day.

We found Trio Vivo when browsing through Instagram and thought they sounded amazing. We continued to listen to them each month on their livestream from the Rudding Park Hotel and thought they would be perfect for our wedding.

We went to their premises in Harrogate at an open evening to listen to them in person and they were amazing. Unfortunately we were late to the event, which meant we had missed Trio Vivo, with the Little Big Band playing instead, but they were very accommodating and understanding and Trio Vivo agreed to play again so we could listen to them, asking which songs we would like to hear from their repertoire. We stayed for the rest of the evening and listened to both groups, who were amazing and then chatted to Trio Vivo about what kind of music we liked and wanted for our day and about ourselves as a couple.

We looked through their extensive repertoire and selected the songs we wanted for our day and asked if they could learn some additional songs for the day, which they were able to do, all bar one, which would have required some additional arrangement, and so would come at a very reasonable cost.

On the day itself, we couldn’t have been happier, they were amazing and were the cherry to the cake of the day, with all of our guests remarking that they couldn’t believe how good they were and had to keep reminding themselves that the music was being played live and wasn’t a recording.

From start to finish, they were kind, courteous, nice professional people and very easy to interact with, arrived and got set up promptly, were smartly dressed and of course were extremely adept musicians.

We would wholeheartedly recommend Trio Vivo for anyone, in our opinion, they are the very best wedding musicians you could possibly get.
