Love this cinema..... Taking me back to the comfortable days of great cinema. The setting is classy with a great welcoming bar where you can order food, drinks and cinema tickets. The service is outstanding and on my visit I enjoyed pizza and fries that were great. Choosing a armchair to watch the movie is great.... Comfy us an understatement.... Its Everyman and Chill

We recently stayed in York for my birthday and went to the Everyman York two days in a row. What an amazing cinema experience! We were in screen 1 first which is the largest screen and our seats were so comfy. Being able to order food and drinks to your chair is such a bonus. We also went to screen 4 which is a very small and cosy screen. It felt like we were having our own private screening as no one sat in front of us. All the staff we met were super friendly and helpful. I only wish we lived nearer to this cinema as it is now my favourite place in the world.

Seen Bridget Jones this week . What a wonderful cinematic experience from the minute we arrived , checked in , had cocktails served to our extremely comfy seats, loved the movie and left. Had dinner the following evening in the Spielburger restaurant, also great ! Staff in bar, restaurant and cinema were all fantastic 👌

Visited Everyman York for the first time to watch ‘We live in time’ and had a lovely experience! The seats were comfortable and the popcorn was perfectly salted- we had a curly haired lady as our host for the film and she was really personable and helpful, would absolutely recommend.

Everything you’d expect from an Everyman. Good service, comfy seats nice atmosphere.

Ate in the restaurant beforehand and the vegan burger fries was very good.
The “1216” burger was absolutely excellent and would highly recommend.

Prices are reasonable, around £20 per person for a burger fries and soft drink.

The tickets were a little pricey however you definitely get what you pay for.

The service was impeccable, with the staff being extremely kind and helpful. The food was delicious and the sofas that you sit on to watch the movies are exceptional.

We have now tried 6 everyman Cinemas across the country, and have to say this was the least inviting out of all of them.
The Staff were nice and the service in Screen 2 was top class.
However the area where to sit for a pre movie drink was very tired, and the drink service was not as good. The preseco was flat had to get it changed and they forgot my order of Fries.
The concept is great, but once you have tried one and got excellent results all others must meet that expectation.
Sadly York didn't.

What can I say about this place, it's absolutely amazing 😍.The best night out I've had for a long time.
The bar areas, the art Deco theme, the sofas, the tables, the drinks and the food, just wow.
I could go here for a night out for the rest of my life!!
The staff fit the venue perfectly. Thanks for an amazing experience.
Definitely recommend it and definitely going back.
