The cafe here is superb, a big variety of cakes and food but with a homely feel. Play area for the kids and heated conservatory to sit with dogs.
The garden centre itself is interesting with plenty of stock.
The highlight for me was the pet and aquatic section. It's hard to find independent aquatic supplies, staff were knowledgeable and stock very reasonably priced with a good variety.

A large garden centre with lots of plants and other garden related furnishings available. The cafe is large with a wide range of food and drinks options available. The staff were pleasant and visiting makes for an ideal hour or so out of the house.

Not a dog friendly place. Be prepared to have security follow you around like a suspected shop lifter if you bring your fussy friend. Even if you say they have just been in a walk and will not do their business in store. Odd thing to have to say, what dog owner even risks that. Really disappointed but I think this place isn't what it once was. The manager was unapologetic so perhaps visit another garden centre which make such promises and save the stress to be honest.

Lovely place, with a brilliant mixture of items for all ages. The food is delicious, if not a little pricey.
Also they have an aquarium section, with very healthy fish. I can personally vouch for this as my Honey Gourami are thriving.
Everything you need for the home & garden. Plus a great butchers.

Great place with loads of variety. Toys, food, furniture, clothes, tools and animals. Lovely little cafe but very expensive.

Rather disappointing 😞 I've been going to fermoys for years but today just felt disappointed with it over all. I took my son to the toilet, the disabled loo is shabby, old, dirty and honestly made me want to go home. The doors to the toilets which are meant to be white are so dirty, they are disgusting.
Because they are wanting you to look at everything in the shop they are making you walk around the whole building to get to things instead of the little bits where you could cut through, great marketing sense but really annoying for customers. It was disorganised, prices on various things couldn't be found and it was difficult in general to get to where you wanted to go.
We went in the cafe, they have done the conservatory in a lovely way and it was a nice place to sit but the cake ,we had a gf one was not really fresh and a rather small piece for nearly £4.

So many area's not great.

One thing I will say is in general the staff were helpful, kind and fairly smiley.

Just a shame because it's a place we used to go a lot but I'm not sure I'd make much effort to go back to as it was.
