This review is long overdue and thoroughly deserved!

My Buckinghamshire wedding photography business has been established for over 20 years, and to date I’ve photographed over 1,000 weddings.

Stunning photographs and an excellent reputation is key to me staying busy, not to mention all the venue and customer recommendations that come my way! But this alone doesn’t fill my diary year after year; excellent marketing is critical for any business, including mine!

In the wedding industry there are so many wedding marketing companies and wedding fair organisers that promise the earth, yet rarely deliver! I should know as I’ve tried so many of them during my career. Thankfully there is one company that’s reliably delivered results for me year after year, and that’s Guides for Brides. And in my eyes they stand head and shoulders above all the local competition!

Guides for Brides have been very helpful and exceptionally supportive to me since setting up my business Susie Grist Couture in 2013.

Their online platform is easy for couples to use to find suppliers and equally easy for us as suppliers to use and show information and pictures that represent our work.

They organise brilliant wedding fairs at great venues that are very well advertised and attended.

I think that they are very good value for money.

All the team are very friendly and helpful although I mainly speak to Jackie who I see at most of the wedding fairs or John my account manager.

I have recently upgraded from the free listing to a paid listing with Guides For Brides after speaking to the lovely Elaine! I have to say she has been so helpful with advice on how to get the best out of the listing, explained how I can add the availability checker widget onto my own website which is fab!
Since I have upgraded a week ago I have had 3 strong leads via their site which is great. I was invited to their venue showcase day live on Facebook which was great and it has reached over 1.5k views which is amazing!
They are on top of all related wedding news for couples and suppliers and you have full updates of anything new to market come to you via email. It took me a while to give Elaine the time on the phone as I was running around on lots of appointments but just recently I have had a bit more time and I am so glad I have upgraded with them. For anyone thinking about this just do it as they are a fantastic platform!

I recently had the pleasure of attending The Guides for Brides Customer Service Awards and I must say, it was an absolutely fantastic event. From start to finish, everything was flawlessly executed and it truly felt like a night of celebration and recognition. I would definitely give this event a five-star rating and highly recommend it to anyone in the wedding industry looking for a night of entertainment and inspiration.

Firstly, the venue was absolutely stunning. The decorations and lighting created a perfect atmosphere and set the tone for the evening. The sound quality was excellent, and the music added to the excitement of the evening. The hosts were phenomenal and kept the energy level high throughout the night. They were charismatic, funny, and kept the audience engaged.

The awards themselves were well thought out and deserved. It was amazing to see so many talented individuals and organisations being recognised for their hard work and contributions and it was great to see the joy and appreciation on their faces.
