We hosted our DIY wedding at Hall Farm Cottages in June 2024 and it was perfect!

Having hired the entire site including all the cottages plus extra bell tents for the whole weekend, as well as camping available at the local pub, we were able to host an extended celebration and family reunion for all our friends and family, which is exactly what we hoped to achieve for our wedding.

We found that Hall Farm Cottages were the only truly disabled access accommodation we could find in Norfolk that also hosted wedding which was a main factor for us when selecting our wedding venue. Hannah has a wealth of experience catering for people with accessibility requirements and provided us with the supplier to hire hospital beds and hoists. She liaised with the supplier to have these installed for when our guests arrived so they were able to settle into their accommodation with ease.

Hannah and Emily (the supplied wedding planner) provided endless lists of suppliers to cater every aspect of our DIY wedding. Although we did not use their recommendations as we had our own suppliers in mind, they still accommodated for our wishes and even provided us with a breakdown list of all aspects to consider, especially as we catered our own wedding breakfast and bar.

The scenery at Hall Farm Weddings is Norfolk at its finest with long uninterrupted views of the Norfolk Broads and a gorgeous wooded lake field where we had our ceremony. We felt immersed in nature and were able to provide our desired atmosphere of formal wedding combined with casual garden party/festival vibes.

We initially didn’t want to host a DIY wedding due to the amount of work required however, with Hannah and Emily’s help, we managed to achieve the wedding of our dreams that we would never have been able to achieve if we decided to have a ‘package wedding’.

Hannah is so lovely and accommodating and made us feel as ease throughout the planning process which made planning and creating our DIY wedding a success!

We recently had our wedding at Hall Farm and we had the most perfect day! We had the entire venue to ourselves for the weekend so we got to spend lots of time with our family and friends which made it even more special. Hannah went above and beyond to make everything perfect for us throughout the whole process, she was so accommodating with all our requests and was so helpful when it came to planning and choosing suppliers. The rest of the staff at Hall Farm were all so friendly and helpful too. We can’t wait to stay at Hall Farm again in the future.

We hired the entire Hall Farm Cottages venue for a weekend to have our wedding in May 2021. We weren't sure about how many people we could have and even if the wedding could go ahead with Covid but Hannah helped us with every aspect of the wedding to make sure the organisation in the lead up and over the weekend went smoothly. Hannah honestly went above and beyond, nothing was too much for her to do! It was also great to have Emily Andrews on board on the day and in the lead up for organisation. The venue is lovely both in terms of the scenery and the cottages (they're even nicer and bigger than in the photos on the website) and the barn and courtyard were are great space for the ceremony and for Friday night dinner. We wanted to have a festival themed wedding and it was such a fantastic choice as we could hire big hat tipis to have down by the lovely lake and wooded area (really close to the cottages) and flags, bunting, lights etc etc to match our theme and vision. Hannah helped out a lot with who to hire from and then getting it all delivered and picked up! We had some a magical and memorable weekend! We would absolutely recommend Hannah and Hall Farms to anyone looking for a DIY venue for a wedding in Norfolk. Thanks Hannah for making it such a special day and weekend! Laura and Cynthia x

Excellent wedding venue! We had our wedding at Hall Farm Cottages and it was a truly fantastic weekend! All of our guests staying on site, either in cottages or bell tents, were delighted with their accommodation. Hannah and her team were brilliant, so helpful before, during and after the big day. From recommending suppliers to keeping us on track and ensuring we didn't forget anything, they really went above and beyond what we had expected. The effort that went into helping us pull off what we had planned was massive and we are so grateful. Everything ran smoothly throughout the weekend, so we really could relax and enjoy ourselves. Hall Farm is also absolutely beautiful. We were able to get married by the lake and our guests were blown away by how gorgeous it was! Thank you Hannah for helping us make such wonderful memories! 🙂 xx

The most beautiful place for a wedding venue! The scenery, the cottages, the atmosphere was perfect! Everything you need in one place! Incredible location for a wedding or a weekend away with everything you need on site! It was just beautiful and can't wait to go back next year!

We chose to have our three day wedding extravaganza at Hall Farm after falling in love with it within about five minutes of our initial visit.
Hannah was an absolute dream to work with and was truly the backbone of our wedding. She was there with us all weekend offering support and helping with organisation. I honestly don't think the weekend would have been the success it was without her there.
The accommodation at Hall Farm is a delight. The views are incredible, the cottages themselves are comfortable, clean, well equipped and a joy to stay in. In addition, the glamping options were a dream and we received such great feedback from our guests who stayed in them. The venue is in a great location for exploring the beautiful local area and the hot tub is a great bonus for relaxing on site.
Hannah went above and beyond for us and we will forever be thankful. We truly feel like we've made a friend for life and I cannot recommend Hannah and Hall Farm enough. It will always have a special place in our hearts and we are so grateful.

I don’t even know where to start... the venue for our wedding was amazing. We got married on the island in the middle of the fishing lake. The weather was on our side, maybe too hot at times but during the ceremony with all the trees there was so much shade that everyone was comfortable. The lake is absolutely beautiful and so unique! We then booked a marquee to have on the field and the views, again, were to die for. Hannah & Emily made sure our day ran smoothly, and they did not fail, it was perfect. Every single guest said it was the best wedding they’d ever been to, and it’s all down to the setting and the organisation of the venue. There was 46 adults and a few more children staying on site with us for the weekend, which just added to how perfect everything went. No one was late, no cars to hire etc! Thank you Hannah for bringing to life our dreams, we really did have the wedding we’d always wanted and you was there to make that happen for us!!! ❤️❤️❤️ Xxx

I don’t even know where to begin, Hannah is the most amazing lady, who over the last few months has helped us beyond words organise our wedding. The cottages are stunning, and the views out of this world. We got married on the island in the middle of the fishing lake, and it’s just amazing. Even on a really hot summers day there was enough shade that our guests were all comfortable. And what makes the little gem of a place even better is you Hannah. From the bottom of our hearts we thank you, Emily and everyone else at Hall Farm for absolutely everything, for all your reassurance, advice, nothing is no trouble attitude, we could not have picked a better place to say I do. We both feel so very lucky that we have had our wedding here!!
