I attended the UK Healthcare conference recently with expert speakers on "Enforcing a Positive Duty to Prevent Sexual Harassment in the Workplace". A very informative and interesting conference to discuss the impact of the new Workplace Preventions Act 2024 which is coming into force from 26th October 2024. Raising awareness of the duties of employers to prevent sexual harassment in the workplace. A very well organised conference which was a pleasure to a part of! Thank you!

I was pleasantly surprise by the venue I think almost relieved it was not huge and scary, but quaint and welcoming. I was visiting for the first time on my own and as one of the speakers to a number of delegates. I was very impressed by all the other speakers present and felt I learnt a lot from the day, to support own practices and delivering my falls prevention service in Leicester.

I have attended several HC-UK events, both as an attendee and speaker, and think that the organisers have developed a very good product which helps meet CPD needs and supports networking. The conferences cover a wide range of topics relevant to contemporary healthcare issues in the UK and beyond. In my experience the organisers are very receptive to suggestions and welcome contributions from a range of perspectives. I have found events to be well-chaired and well-managed behind the scenes, providing genuine learning opportunities. Participants are enabled and encouraged to contribute on the day. Putting on a successful conference, whether in-person or online, is fraught with potential difficulties but I think HC-UK have found a winning formula.

The conference was very informative, bringing a wide range of specialists who brought valuable information and great insight on the topic of Adult Safeguarding within a cultural sensitive and trauma informed practice. I gained useful tools and strategies to apply in my practice.

I’ve attended two conferences with this company and both were fantastic. When I signed up to the most recent virtual conference on Saving Babies Lives I wasn’t sure how it would compare with the traditional face to face experience. I have to say that despite all the challenges of moving to a virtual format in these times, the excellent quality of speakers and relevant content did not change. There were also breakout rooms which meant you didn’t miss out on the networking side of the conference. By the end of the day I actually preferred the virtual conference, all the high quality information without the hassle of travel! I will definitely be attending further conferences with this company in the future! Thank you.
