Good variety of plants here but service at the checkout not great.
Three members of staff at the checkout on 18th October. One was serving a couple with a lot of plants while the other two were chatting about non work related stuff. They saw I was waiting but neither offered to serve me and carried on talking. I should have asked them to serve me I suppose but I’m not good at that, so just waited for my turn. Thought I’d let you know so you can improve customer satisfaction training as it was a shame to leave there feeling disappointed.

This is our favourite garden centre.
Easy to park; you can find outdoors and indoor plants and flowers, tools and decorative items; it also has a nice cafe, and the staff is friendly.

Visited today for the Café, moreso than the Garden Centre, and, unfortunately, I found it underwhelming and somewhat disappointing. Okay, so it's primarily a Garden Centre and this bit looked quite good. The regular Lattes we were provided with were more like milky instant coffees you could have made at home. The sausage and bacon sandwiches were equally underwhelming, like you could have knocked up at home also. Having worked in a Café myself for several years, I know how 'First impressions count' and sadly this was so true today. My first visit to this Café, and nothing today gave me any incentive to want to rush back.
Sorry, but that's just my honest opinion.

Beautiful tiny hamlet (Church Meadow) has a great Garden centre with competitive prices and some great Regatta clothing on sale 😀 stunning landscapes and King Fishers can be seen by the pond. If you have time pop in to see the Monastery and lunch at 11:15 daily .

Good value garden centre with very friendly and helpful staff. The afternoon tea is excellent value and really good quality. The one shown in the picture was more than enough for three, came with unlimited tea and coffee and, with an offer and loyalty card it cost less than £4 per person!
