We held our wedding at The Hilltop Country House and it was the best decision. From the moment we stepped in and met Clare, we knew this was THE place. It has the most beautiful gardens and scenery, beautiful rooms, a few extras (that we wont spoil for future guests) and the food is out of this world. Whenever we had any questions the team were so happy to help and work with us on our ideas to make it a perfect wedding day for us, nothing was ever enough. The wedding guests all said how beautiful it is for a special day, it was safe for the younger wedding guests to explore and plenty of room at the bar for the older guests. I cant thank Clare and the team enough. Thank you x

Everything about this venue is just perfect.
I couldn’t have wished for a better day.
The staff here are absolutely fantastic! Nothing was too much trouble. I can’t thank everyone enough for making our day so special.
I would choose this venue a million times over, the house, the gardens the views are just so beautiful!
Beth our wedding planner made it all stress free…so a huge thank you Beth!
All the guests had an amazing time and complimented the venue so much! If you are considering this venue I one hundred percent would recommend!

We held our wedding at Hilltop Country House August 2024 and everything was perfect. Clare and her team were truly exceptional, and were dedicated to making our day a success -- from supporting with the big decisions, to taking the initiative to ensure our guests signed our guest book. The food was perfect and all dietary requirements were accommodated for, the venue is gorgeous with lots of spaces for stunning photos and for kids to blow off some steam, and the boogie room is definitely a wow factor. The bridal suite is perfect for getting ready and provided the necessary comfort after a long day dancing. Our guests haven't stopped raving about how much they enjoyed the day. I wish we could do it all again!

From the second we came for our first visit to Hilltop when looking for a venue for our wedding, we knew that we had found somewhere special. The setting, little details and overall vibe were amazing but each and every person went above and beyond to make our day the best it could be. Clare, Beth and the team all worked seamlessly together to create something even more beautiful and unique to our story and we have had continuous compliments from all of our guests about how amazing it was (especially the food and drink!) I would highly recommend this venue and team for any event but especially if you are looking to make your wedding extra special.

Wow what a wedding venue! We want to say the biggest Thankyou to all the staff at Hilltop for making our wedding so memorable. We loved everything - the beautiful grounds, the decorated marquee, the food/drinks and the boogie room. We were so pleased we added on the garden games as these provided great entertainment for the guests! Thankyou to Beth for organising everything before and on the day/morning after, you really made us feel in good hands and you were so calm and professional throughout. Cam is an assett to the bar team, thankyou for all your help with everything bar related and organising taxis at the end of the night! Emil, thank you for co-ordinating two bands, the speeches on the day and providing a great dj set. Although we knew there were plenty of weddings the same week as ours, the team made our day feel really special and individual and for that we can’t thank you enough! We highly recommend Hilltop!

We were married at Hilltop Country House this summer and it was as perfect as we imagined. The food, the venue, the staff were all incredible and from the 6.30 arrival on the Saturday to the Sunday morning breakfast we felt so looked after. We cannot recommend Clare and her team enough, and we hope we can visit again soon. Thank you everybody!

Booked one night for my colleague & I and we couldn’t have been happier. Delightful house in stunning setting. I was in the green room and she in the rose room. The attention to detail is unrivaled. Both rooms spacious, beautiful and spotless. Everything you could need was provided including a generous range of tea and coffee, mini bar, tv, USB sockets, gorgeous toiletries and fluffy towels. The grounds are breathtaking with several seating areas to choose from surrounded by the most idyllic countryside. |We were welcomed warmly and were made to feel at home by the lovely owner with whom we chatted about the history of the house.|There was helpful information in each room including local amenities and services. |Very conveniently located in the edge of the town but a little oasis tucked away from civilization. |I would thoroughly recommend and will definitely return!!
