Quite a nice store. Lots of choice. Can be busy at weekends but the tills are staffed and you get served quite quickly. Any art and craft product you could want as well as model train accessories, model paints, model glues and quite a selection of plastic model kits.

Good branch, good selection. Staff are friendly and helpful overall. Deducted a star as on multiple occasions (over 5 times now - perhaps a system bug needs troubleshooting) occasions discounted items have ran through the till at full price, leaving the customer to be diligent to check receipt and a refund be arranged. The last occasion another customer stopped me to say it happened to her multiple times too… the shop floor staff aren’t overly interested so hopefully HO pick up on this comment.

Shop is good. However, I purchased a helium balloon tank which was not so good & would not recommend it. Was supposed to inflate up to 30 9" balloons but in fact blew up half of that, which also fell down within four/five hours. I was very disappointed as it was nearly £30.
It was for a friend's daughter's hen party as well.

Went in to look for a specific product couldn't find it so went to ask a member of staff and she was just busy on her phone. When she replied didn't show me where the item was just told me where abouts it is and had to go and try find myself when I couldn't find asked member of staff again and was just told if it's not out we not got it she didn't even attempt to look or go in the back to check. Very poor service.

I needed some elastic and hobbycraft had plenty of widths in rolls... so you could buy just what is needed. Stockport has a bigger hobbycraft than my local one.
I don't shop there usually but had to collect my car from dealership. Disappointing to learn that you have to pay for parking at what is basically an out of town shopping area so it's unlikely that I'll come back any time soon!
