Title: Apology and Update Regarding My Previous Review

I recently wrote a review for Hollywood Fancy Dress shop, which I feel needs a substantial update and an apology.

Initially, I was unaware of the male costume section located upstairs and wrote a review that did not accurately reflect my overall experience. After revisiting the store, I realize my mistake and retract my previous remarks, acknowledging the vast collection of costumes for men available on the second floor.

However, I did find that the current layout of having both female sections on the ground floor and the male section exclusively upstairs, without any clear signage or indication, can be misleading. This setup might cause male customers, like myself, to initially feel underrepresented or overlooked.

To enhance the shopping experience for all attendees, I suggest the store consider implementing more prominent signage both outside and inside the store. This could include:
* Installing a large, eye-catching sign at the entrance that clearly states "Men’s Costumes Upstairs."
* Placing directional signs at strategic points around the store.
* Using floor decals to guide customers seamlessly to different sections.
* Adding informational posters near staircases explaining the layout.

Visited the store on Poole while on holiday. Fabulous selection of items to suit all ages at reasonable prices. Staff very helpful especially if it is for a themed event.

Went in and was greeted by a VERY RUDE woman who told me i couldn’t touch anything in the shop?!?!!!! Then everywhere that i went in the shop, she said i couldn’t be there as i was under 18!! Then when i asked her about a prop she ignored me at first but then when she answered, she was incredibly rude and acted like i was a burden. Wont be going here anytime soon!!!

Went in last week to purchase some bits for my younger siblings cowboy themed event at their school this Thursday and I must say that the customer service was beyond excellent. Help was politely offered as soon as I entered the store, which I declined, and was left alone again until I approached a staff member for some guidance a little later on after having a little wander myself, which she was very happy to provide. I left the store with exactly what I had in mind when I entered and I'll definitely be returning for party and dress up bits in the future!!

Went in as we were curious. What a brilliant shop and we found an item that we have been looking for for ages ..... And we'll leave it to your imagination but it needed blowing up!!!! The young man serving was very helpful and took the time to talk to a couple of old pensioners while it was quiet. Our only gripe is that it is too far from our home. Good luck.

This place has what it promises with a lot of options in between, but I feel like it is hugely overpriced and the products are definitely not high quality (a Halloween hairband flower fell off on the way home). The staff are very eager (too eager) and they were offering hp the minute you walked through the door and then another three times before you have even made it to the section you wanted. I will always go here for my dressing up clothes, but I get out of there as fast as I can!!

I went there trying to find gloves with no covering fingers because I couldn't find anywhere else. They have but not my type obviously because is a fancy dress shop, but anyway, the lady there with glasses and brown hair was so lovely and helpful, than deserve 5 stars!
