Recently attended the Candlelight show at York Minster, first time I’d been to an Ignite show so wasn’t sure what to expect. It was fab, absolutely loved it. The mix between the music and Alistair Griffin singing was great, will definitely book another show.

Wonderful concerts & a really lovely night out.

Totally varied events and there really is something for everyone.
I’ve been to the ‘Big Christmas Concerts’ and they are fantastic, dancing your way into the festive season with a mulled wine or two and games thrown in as well. Such a great atmosphere. I also went to the ‘Summer Symphony’, which was a lovely chilled out evening with food & drinks in the shadow of York Minster with superb live music. Perfect summers night out.

Would definitely recommend booking!

I thoroughly enjoyed a night at the movies at York Minster with Bahamian friends. The music was fantastic and the vocals wonderful. It was so good that I have now booked to go again, this time with my husband, to the concert at Harewood House. An added bonus was Jack Black who joined us for Pirates of the Caribbean. My friends were delighted to have a photo with him after the show.

To be honest I thought the £35 tickets were a little bit expensive but oh my, without any hesitation I can say it was the best £35 spent. Absolutely wonderful performance and the beautiful young singers rendition of Jerusalem bought tears to my eyes.

Every year we go to one of these concerts when we visit York. We have done the big Christmas concert twice which is so much fun and so festive and last year we went to the candle light one which was amazing. It's one of our yearly traditions and I already can't wait til December until the next one. It's a fab experience 🙂

We saw Alistair and the Ebor string 🎻
quartet practising 🎶 daytime as we toured the York Minster ⛪️ and were mesmerised by their music in such an atmospheric and iconic venue. I had been planning to book 🎫 all week, then disappointed as we were both told by the door staff, and appeared online as sold out ⛔️ .

Assuming failure, by chance I tried again from my laptop 💻 an hour before the start and amazingly 🤩 and by luck booked what appeared to be the last 2 zone A seats! 😅 front row! 😍

We had a fabulous evening! Super organisation! All looked and sounded 🎶🎻 great! What a talented 🎻 🎸 🎶 🎤 team! Well done everyone. Also to the team who told us they set up 1400 battery operated 🕯️ 🔥 candles! From the front I didn’t spot one candle 🕯️ which had gone out. I also enjoyed my selfie 🤳 😍 with 🏴‍☠️ Jack Sparrow.
