I went to the gym here and it is out of date and machines wobble which causes danger issues. The equipment’s has not been checked and not enough weights even if I wanted to use them for things like assisted squat or barbell squatting. I paid for a month’s membership and went for 3 days out of the whole month. Although the gym needs refurbing the PT and staff are very friendly but it really needs updating as so out of date even for a small gym.

PROS -
I’m a new member at the club and have been coming here for the past week. I love how welcoming the pool staff are and how quiet it is here. I make use of the heated swimming pool and in the future I will make use of the gym too. I have had nothing but great things to say about this place, as someone who has recently become disabled I’ve struggled to get out as well as exercise so to have a place like this on my doorstep is fab. Also being on the spectrum I get very overwhelmed and anxious by noise and people, so I appreciate quieter places. Luckily, the people here have been welcoming and it’s not super busy. I raved about how nice it is to my friend and encouraged her to come along with me for a swim, we had a great time!
CONS-
Now the reasons I’ve deducted 2 stars.. swim membership includes sauna use however there isn’t a working sauna in the pool area (needs fixing and is currently being used as a storage room). This should be reflected in the membership price. Another massive let down was the way both myself and my friend were spoken to by a member of staff for bringing an e-scooter into the cafe seating area whilst we waited to grab a coffee (it was chucking it down with rain and it was pretty empty inside) the scooter was out of the way of anyones path, and if it was taking space I could have folded it down, given the opportunity. Although I am happy to be informed on the rules of the club, I really didn’t like the way both myself and my friend were spoken to by the male member of staff, there’s one thing politely letting someone know the rules and another having a firm loud tone and it felt like we were being told off because of this! The tone of voice was unnecessary and was loud enough that people were looking at us and it made both myself and my friend very uncomfortable. Any louder and he would have been shouting. This triggered my anxiety really bad. It’s such a shame that this happened, as it could have easily been dealt with differently by the staff member (who I was informed is the big boss!) - perhaps in future approach someone and explain in a soft friendly tone.. especially 2 young girls (1 that had a baby with her) I personally don’t think having the scooter in there was such a big deal, and it has never been an issue anywhere I’ve been as long as it is tucked out of the way, but I was happy to comply. Sadly, we didn’t stay for a coffee as I didn’t want to leave the e-scooter out in the rain to possibly get damaged or stolen, and also we didn’t really want to stick around after being spoken to that way. The scooter is the only way I am able to get to and from the club due to not being able to walk far - so I am now considering my options getting to & from the club as they don’t have anywhere to store an e-scooter (I was told the bike rack is for bikes and to leave it outside on the courtyard) What a shame 🙁 if it was a large mobility scooter it would have been fine though!

Good complex but could do with and spruce up. Only used the football stadium, cash only cafe style food, and small sweet stand. Small amount of seating available. Free parking, which was good 👍

Visited Imber court with my children and a friend who is a member. I was approached by the chairman and asked if i had a membership which I did not. I was a there as a guest however he was ready to throw me out. I questioned the price of the wine I purchased as it was £7.65 for the glass that seemed a lot more expensive than when I used to visit. It was just a question however this man became very rude which shocked me and the member I was with. When my friend left I still had my drink so stayed. he accosted me on my way to take my son to the loo shouting at me me ‘Who are you with now then’ He was so aggressive. I had another friend there who is also a member so had to sit with them as he was ready to throw me out despite me purchasing a drink and visiting as a a guest. Terrible customer service and an extremely rude and aggressive chairman. What a shame as the grounds are lovely but I would avoid if this is the treatment you get.
