The garden is desolate and barren. There’s only 3 rooms to visit, which were unremarkable, especially for the Β£12 per person price. The library is a couple of books; no more than a small personal library of a non-reader. The lady showing us around was lovely though.

We went to Kingston Bagpuize with Southmoor Summer Fete on the 29th June.
This was the first time we visited.
We were amazed at how wonderful the house and gardens looked.
Will definitely be back for a proper visit.
Parking was available under the trees, shade was welcome as it was very warm.

How lovely to actually chat with the lady of the house & her daughter. Delicious lemon drizzle cake. Chinese wallpaper is captivating. Herbaceous border full of wonder, and a hidden Mimosa tree.

Have been meaning to visit the house forever but kept missing the opening days. Β£7 per head to visit but a nice wander through the snowdrop copses for a couple of hours. Great plant seller stalls and left happy but poorer.
