I am doing a major remodel of a 121 year old home, and Lowe’s is my go to for appliances, electrical, plumbing, doors, trim. This used to be one of the good Lowe’s. The last six months’ experiences I’ve had at this location have all been…. Frustrating. Annoying.

I tried them again yesterday, and got so disgusted I walked out and went elsewhere. Entrance doors and aisles blocked (no kidding), an indifferent staff, items unavailable, poor organization… no thank you. I visited my local building supply store and got what I needed.

Twice recently I’ve gone online and ordered what I needed from this location, and when I tried to pick it up there was no one to help. I pressed the button and waited. And waited. So after ten minutes (!!) I found my pickup items on their shelf with my name on a sticker, stuck the sticker on the counter, took my items and walked out and drove home.

I still like Lowe’s. But not this one.

I love Lowes, and can usually find what we are looking for. What I don't like is the self check outs..We still always need help as my husband is in a power chair, and it is difficult for him to present ID etc. for Military discount and pay. As elderly shoppers, we much prefer a CASHIER!

Must be nice ! I ordered a lawn mower more than a month ago this weekend and been rescheduled week after week for delivery and still haven’t got it ! Spoke to a customer service person and the manager didn’t have time to speak to me. I bet they would Love to lose $5,000 dollars Lowe's Home Improvement Dothan, Alabama location. Was even told it was at the store but no one would assemble it. I want to speak to someone.

Keep sending installation jobs to 3rd party companies who refuse to do it due to not being paid enough by Lowes leaving customers stranded. And I had to pay Lowes $9 to get a refund, ridiculous

I mean Lowe's is generally a place that's fairly on top of things, but on a Wednesday I needed to get a single piece of 8' plank board just. Lastly it took me about I'm 30 mins to get that piece of wood cut. Still gonna shop there, just have to cut it myself or somewhere else.

Tried to return some 30 dollars worth of pristine condition gate hardware with tags unused for store credit, NOT REFUND. Because it was past the 90 days little miss bad attitude said “oh no uh uh!” Have spent thousands over the years at Lowe’s.

On Tuesday, May 27th I placed my order with Lowes.com for a refrigerator that was to be delivered on Saturday,  May 31st, between 9am - 5pm.   At 3pm and no call or update on when the delivery truck would arrive I called Lowe's in Dothan, Alabama where I live.  They said the order I placed on line was not coming from the Lowe's in Dothan but from Enterprise Alabama a city 31 miles away.  When I called the Lowe's store in Enterprise they said the order was placed with their store in Marianna,  Florida and placed me on hold to call the store and check delivery status.  When the person got back on the line after speaking with the Lowe's store in Marianna, Florida I was shocked to hear my order would not be arriving for another week!!  I couldn't believe it!  No call from Lowe's and an additional week of living without a refrigerator was not acceptable.   I then called the Lowe's in Marianna and spoke to the manager named Ashly.  She then confirmed the store had just changed the delivery date when they received the call from the Lowe's in Enterprise inquiring on delivery time status since they were out of stock.  What!?  I asked Ashly why had I lost my whole Saturday waiting on a delivery that never was going to be delivered since it was out of stock.  Surely Lowe's in Marianna Florida knew prior to Saturday they didn't have the refrigerator.   When I asked Ashly how Lowe's was going to compensate me for dropping the ball with my order and the lost of my day she said she could offer $50 to $100 cash from Lowe's if I drove to their store in Florida from Alabama.   I told her that was not going to happen and that I would write an official complaint with Lowe's about all that transpired.  Left with no refrigerator I drove to my Lowe's store in Dothan to see if they had any refrigerator that had the same measurements as the one I didn't receive and to cancel the order I had placed on line with Lowes.com.   The associate in the Appliance Department, Amory, quickly understood what had transpired with my online order and began looking for a replacement.  When looking in their storage warehouse he found the exact refrigerator I had placed on line!  He then asked the Assistant Manager,  David, if Lowe's could do anything in regards to pricing to compensate for the ordeal I had went through trying to get my online order.  David said yes and at 7:11pm I purchased the refrigerator.  If it wasn't for Amory and David Lowe's would have lost any of my future appliance purchases.  These two men should be recognized by Lowe's for their commitment to helping customers and upholding customer satisfaction.   10 stars!
