We recently had our wedding here in February From the moment we first visited we knew that this venue was the one for us. The venue is just so pretty it doesn’t need loads of decorations. We were assigned Niamh as our wedding planner and she was great from start to finish and especially on the day, they go above and beyond to make sure everything is exactly how you want it and make sure you’re at ease. The day went seamlessly and it was everything we had wished for and more! The food was amazing and so was the breakfast in the morning. The only downside was that the accommodation, some of the rooms didn’t have mugs and some essentials, none of the rooms had hot water in the taps and other than the honeymoon suit, all of the rooms have a green light that was so bright some of our guests couldn’t sleep. Overall we loved our wedding, we definitely chose the right venue for us and we want to do it all over again! Thank you to Niamh and all the staff at milling barns for making our day perfect! What an absolutely remarkable venue! When I first went to visit Milling barn I knew this was the venue for me! Aimie was such an amazing wedding coordinator and gave me such reassurance during the whole process! All our guests commented on how lovely the venue was and I could not agree more. So grateful and lucky to be able to say this is where we got married!

We recently had our 'Christmas Wedding' at Milling Barn. From the first viewing we were blown away, we knew immediately that we had found where we wanted to get married. Our co-ordinator was Niamh, and we could not have asked for more. She went above and beyond to give us the most amazing day, from replying my barrage of emails to setting up and arranging a facetime with my grandad from his care home - all whilst checking in on me throughout the day. Absolutely fantastic! Not forgetting the rest of the staff, everyone was so polite and helpful and just made our day stress-free! The dressing room is beautiful and SO big! Plenty of room for me and my 4 girls, hair dresser and 2 photographers (as well as the odd person coming for a sneak-peak) plenty of tea and coffee available in the room, though cold drinks are chargeable. The Oak Barn is absolutely stunning. Photos just do not do it justice, you have to see it in person. I became so emotional the first time I viewed this, it truly is beautiful. We did worry that with it being December, we and our guests would be freezing, but not at all. There are discrete heaters on the walls which blend in and keep the room really snug. The fairy lights surrounding the beams give off the most incredible ambience and all adds to the romantic feel of the room. The main barn is spectacular. Divided in to 2 sections (Dairy barn & Main barn) and need minimal decoration to look so beautiful. We chose the Relaxed Menu for our wedding breakfast, with it being a week before Christmas day, we went for Turkey! Nearly month on and we are still hearing from our guests about the food. It really was delicious! We had a very small party for the wedding breakfast so the relaxed menu was perfect for us, we were given 4 huge turkeys which we carved at the table by 3 guests of our choice, everyone LOVED this idea! Genius! We were all ushered in to the Dairy barn whilst the main barn was set up for the evening entertainment and guests and the room was transformed. From start to finish, we had the best day thanks to Milling Barn, We're both so glad we got married here and if we had our day again, we wouldn't think twice, Milling Barn every time!

The most beautiful wedding venue! It’s what little girls dream of! We viewed a number of barns but Milling Barn stood out to us for a number of reasons; you get the whole venue to yourselves, all of the available extras, the friendly staff, the scenery and the value for money! From the get go Gemma and the team had great communication and we were contacted constantly throughout the process. The day ran smoothly and there were no hiccups. Gemma was on hand all day to make sure we were happy and the team were super friendly and helpful. They really made us, our guests and our suppliers feel welcome. They even catered for our fully vegan wedding breakfast! A picturesque venue with beautiful energy, romance and fun! Many of our guests stated it was the more idyllic wedding venue they’ve ever been too!

We recently got married at milling barn and I would 100% recommend. We had a lot of support throughout the planning process with regular meetings with your planner. On the day it ran so smooth when I turned up my planner had almost finished decorating Aimie- Justine was so organised and so helpful on the wedding day. She helped with anything you needed her for and making sure guests were they needed to be etc and was a great wedding planner. The food on the day was amazing and all the guests commented how nice it was. The venue is stunning and cannot have asked for a better wedding day.

We booked Milling barn over two years ago and finally got married on the 19th October this year and it was honestly the best day of our lives!! We had Aimie as our wedding coordinator and she was absolutely fantastic! She saw our vision and made it even better than we could have imagined! The barn itself has fairy lights everywhere and the greenery outside is beautiful which allowed us to save some money on decor which was great for us as we did have a budget! Our guests have not stopped saying how amazing they thought the venue was and they absolutely loved the food. The pizza is definitely the choice for the evening food! Honestly this venue went above and beyond for us and the whole day was magical so if you’re thinking of having this venue for your big day I would definitely recommend. If you are a bit like me and did not know where to start looking when it came to suppliers here are the fantastic team we had on our big day! We would like to say a huge thank you to Niamh and the team at milling barn! We had our special day on the 21st of August 2024 and it was the most beautiful and amazing day. We searched endlessly for the perfect venue both very undecided on which one to go with but as soon as we saw milling barn and met the amazing team we knew we found the one! Not only were they very helpful with helping us plan the day but also at making us feel at ease. I’m a huge stress head and Niamh was always there to answer any questions I had no matter how stupid they sounded. The Barn is just a dream and food is absolutely delicious, all our friends and family commented on how impressed they were with everything especially the cake!. We couldn’t of chosen a better venue for our special day.
