This is a warm and friendly independent shop selling a range of books, stationery and some games. There is an especially good mix of children's literature. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful, ordering books in quickly if they are not in stock. I would highly recommend it.

I’ve spent happy hours browsing here. The staff are friendly and helpful. (I have mobility problems and it’s a smallish old building. ) Super helpful in ordering books they don’t have in stock.

Hands down the best independent bookshop in the area. Excellent selection, with a dedicated kids’ books room. If they don’t have it, they’ll order it in! The wonderful team also run loads of events throughout the year, which are organised with care and passion. There’s a reason Mostly Books has won so many awards.
