Interesting Memorial, Duck pond with Identifying board. Children's play area.
There is an events stage, which was not in use on the day we visited.
Nice for a quiet walk and generally very clean. The park is situated on a slope and may cause a problem for people with severe walking problems, however the park does have good clear paths for wheelchair access.

A beautiful park to walk with my beautiful dog. Plenty of space for everyone, a well maintained play park for children, two bowling greens and a recently upgraded tennis court area (booking required i think) There is also a nice little disabled parking area within the grounds should you require it. All in all it's a lovely space to spend time in.

Started playing tennis here after the refurbishment, cracking set up. So cheap to subscribe for the year (ยฃ25), can book as much you want. Then after tennis, walk around the park. Lovely.

A nice medium sized park with little pond with some ducks. Hill walk up to monument which looks quite hidden away and is bigger once your there. Worth a walk around. Good for walking dogs I guess.

We went to Oakfest and it seemed like a decent park, I've never been before so I'm not sure what it's generally like. But the locals seemed friendly and the music was fun, seemed to be a well looked after place with courts and a big playground. Although for the festival I'd of hoped to see more stalls and food, and a better stocked bar.
