ÂŖ80 for one night with no breakfast is overpriced

Decor has a charm to it but the hotel is very outdated. My room had an unpleasant odor and so did the corridor. All but 1 of my lights were also broken aswell my room not being totally clean.

For the price of ÂŖ70-80 a night, this was absolutely awful. The water was brown, we tried to get room service water as there was no bottled in the room (says room service is 24h) but the guy wanted us to come downstairs to collect it (I suspect because our room was so far away from reception). The heating was up full blast, which we discovered at 2am after both sweating buckets. Even after turning off, the room was still incredibly warm. I think because we were near the pool. There were cobwebs and coffee stains on the table, stains over the toilet seat and the bowl itself was very dirty. It seemed like it had not been cleaned prior to us staying in there. Will be requesting a full refund, uncomfortable and dirty.

This place requires thorough cleaning!!! My first room had badly flickering lights which kept turning themselves off.. so I was moved. The second room had clearly not been cleaned well. The sheets had been changed and that was about it. Floor was filthy. Crumbs and raisins in a lot of places and the bath was filthy with dirt ring around it.

I stayed here with a group and we were all a little worried because of the other reviews. We were subsequently pleasantly surprised at the fact that the hotel was actually lovely. It may not be the most modern place I've ever stayed but the beds are comfortable, the rooms are relatively spacious and the facilities are great. The staff are also very friendly and accommodating.

Friendly staff but the hotel is quite tired and in need of updating. The shower has only one setting, riot mode. Thankfully you could adjust the temperature so at least it was a warm blast. There were only 2 plugs in the room and the tv was plugged into one of them so if you needed more than one device charging at the same time one has to resort to talking to your room mate or reading.. There are other better places to stay

Very tired hotel whose owner has evidently not invested in it. I stayed therefore 3 weeks 2 years ago and it is now even more run down.Room adequate but hot water hit and miss, gym OK but pool heavily over chlorinated(my skin was tingling) sauna disappointing and the steam room is a cleaners' cupboard. On the positive side, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was OK. In sum, this place could be great if someone was prepared to spend some time and money. However, at half the price of Holiday Inn you get what you pay for!

The meal we had was perfectly cooked although the portions were quite small. There did not appear to be enough staff on call as they all seemed to be doubling up on their tasks whilst one or two of them didn't seem to know what they were supposed to be doing. We did not stay overnight so I cannot comment on that aspect of the establishment.

Even though the rooms were tidy it was far too hot. Lack of air conditioning, the shower was like a jet stream, very hard to stay under the water without being stung . The staff do their best but lack of rooms because of work being done it was difficult for me as I am in need of a hip replacement, the long walk to the rooms was unfortunate! Some of the bedcovers were stained!
