This was a brilliant trip, well worth a visit and worth every penny. A local family business that's been running since the 60's. These guys know their stuff and are passionate about their tours to coquet island. Our captain took his time to come and speak to us and give us some information and plenty of time to enjoy watching the seals, still a bit early for puffins though. Just brilliant!

Visited in August so no Puffins to see. Puffins nest on the island from roughly Easter to late July. The price seems to be the same whether the puffins are there or not. The seal colony was lovely to see - such cute and inquisitive creatures. A favourite bird was the amazing gannets. We got to see them dive bombing into the sea to catch fish. Unfortunately, it is very expensive for a one hour cruise - £70 for a family of 4. It was a good trip but, personally, I didn't really see the value for money at that price.

Had a great time. Friendly, helpful and informative staff. Would recommend phoning or checking on sailing times and booking tickets on arrival as very popular so may not get the time you require. Hour cruise, saw plenty of wildlife, even dolphins. Had a great time. Thank you Puffin Cruises.

Had a brilliant trip out to Coquet Island with Puffin Cruises. Very efficient and timely sailings. Wonderful to see the breeding birds up close, such a privelege. Our main aim was to see Roseate Tern, which we had wonderful views of as the boat was idled close to shore. We had the added bonus of seeing the rare and beautiful Bridled Tern. We also enjoyed hearing about the history of the island, it's buildings and previous occupants. All in all a smashing time well spent and good value for money.

Brilliant trip with Puffin Cruises on the 3.30pm boat today. Literally thousands of puffins, hundreds of seals, eider ducks and terns! Loads of time to see everything and the crew give excellent information. Highly recommend if you're visiting this part of the world.

Went on a round trip cruise to Coquet Island with my Dad and 5 year old nephew. Both the guys on the boat were very knowledgeable about the history of the island and the lighthouse, but also provided lots of information about the birds and seals on the island.

I would definitely recommend Puffin Cruises to anyone visiting Amble.
