I have been shopping at Quality Discount (QD) in Anglia Square since it opened in the mid-1980s. When I’m searching for a specific household item, I always head straight to QD, as I can usually find what I need there. One of the main reasons I love this store is that I rarely have to wait more than a few minutes in the checkout line, thanks to their excellent ratio of cashiers to customers at the tills.

I love this store! I always find great things and great deals, stock is always good and the staff are so lovely!! I love coming here for their homeware, it’s so different from what you’d find in your generic shops like B&M’s and Home Bargains, i can always find quirky cups, bowls and kitchen items here and much more. It’s never too busy here either so if you’re looking for a relaxed environment without having to wait with your trolley to get around people this is the place to go 🙂

QD is one of those discount stores that stocks a little of everything and can surprise you with unexpected bargains.

There is a decent range of budget products for home and garden, and you'll often find branded clothes sold at a discount.

But I mostly enjoy finding random items like my James Bond branded water bottle and flask.

Please update your opening times on this page, and more so the attitude of your staff, please.

When I politely pointed out to the store colleague that this page says the store opens until 6pm, and asked that he might communicate this to be updated to its actual closing time of 5:30, his response was "that's not on me pal".

Covers a wide range when it comes to necesities. From tools to animal feed and everything else that animals in general might need, almost everything can be found there.
