I attended a wedding on 02/06/2023 and had a great experience.
The hall itself was decorated to a high standard, and the food was delicious.
The table service was good, with waiters standing to provide anything the guests needed.
The staff overall were very attentive to the brides family and anything they wanted was provided, nothing was too much trouble.
I would recommend this hall and their service, to anyone looking to book and event for their needs.

We had a family wedding here recently. Very disappointed with the service provided and especially the inappropriate attitude of management/kitchen staff. Sorry to say but food was completely off and disgusting barely anything was fresh. The positive was the honest waitress who advised she knows the food is off and has reported it to management but management did not take any action.

We had a strong sewage smell all around the hall whereby staff were walking around with air fresheners. I would not recommend this place at all for future wedding events as poor management can spoil your big day.

I attended my friends daughter wedding here over the bank holiday and the manager and staff were very attentive and helpful. Decor was lovely and lots of attention to detail. The big disappointment was the food! The chicken was very pale looking and didn’t taste right. Certain tables were not given the full menu and dishes missing. Staff seemed a bit chaotic and in and out if kitchen looking a bit disorganised. I could see my Freind running around with staff and manager trying to sort the issues out. This was her daughters big day and the last thing she should be worried about is the food being off. And chasing management and staff about in the kitchen trying to resolve this food issue. It was not very nice to see. Rio Grande should have made sure food was on point and fresh as this is one of the main things people remember when attending weddings. Very disappointed and I believe some people have been affected by this through food poisoning and sickness. This is not good customer service.

I attended a wedding here 2 days ago. Upon arrival, I noticed members of staff loudly spraying air fresheners as they walked across the venue floor. This was very unprofessional and disturbed the overall atmosphere. The food genuinely felt like there was no effort made. I've never seen chicken look like that at a wedding! The food also smelled terrible too, so clearly they were masking the odour of the food with the air fresheners earlier. The staff were very receptive to our requests and made a good effort, although this does do enough to redeem itself. Whoever this catering company was should be shut down.

Attended a wedding here. The main hall is beautifully decorated. The people serving the food are attentive and friendly. The main hall is clean and tidy. The steps leading up to the building are slippery on a wet day.

attended my friends wedding here, the service from some staff members was fairly decent but the food was completely off tasted like leftovers and had a horrible smell (of old food) i’ll definitely not be booking this venue for mine! deco was probably the only good thing! this was supposed to be a special day for her.

I attended a friend’s wedding on the 28th May at the Rio Grande in Bradford. It was really nice to see faces from the past however the reunion was ruined by the catering. The starters included chicken which was clearly off, I am sure it went against every food law in the country. I am sure there were vulnerable guests there who woke up to food poisoning or some other health issue as a direct result of the food served at the wedding. Many people just noticed the smell of the chicken however I am sure other dishes were equally off. At the end of the day I would not recommend this venue to anyone. Please avoid the Rio Grande for your big day- you have been warned!

Went to a wedding recently and they served us chicken that had a strong pungent smell. Food that was served was not good and had an off smell to it.

The venue smelt of sewage it was disgusting. They tried to tell us it was the carpet!

Investigated the chicken issue and the head chef would not admit that the chicken smelt. We opened two big pots of cooked chicken and everyone in the kitchen could smell it apart from the head chef.

I am shocked that the food was off and they could smell it's off and they still served it.

Food samples were taken and will be reporting to food hygiene.

I'd give it a zero rating if I could.
