Just had a ride to Skipton for a few hours, had a lovely afternoon. Sun was shining and we visited the cake ole for a drink and sandwich/cake, bought pork pie, had a look around the little shops in the arcade and finished off with a meal to take home from M&S food hall. A lovely day all round.

Exceptionally friendly, helpful and welcoming staff, really lovely. Couldn't do enough for you. Amazing architectural ceiling in main hall. Public loos. Has small shop selling cards etc. The museum is free to enter and there is a lift as well as stairs taking you up to the exhibition space above.
