Found by chance while looking for a coffee in the town, situated right next door to Costa. Prefer to support independent, looked lovely from the outside and caught our eye.
Service was a little slow but we had delicious coffees and my daughter loved the child friendly facilities!

This is the best little cafe in all of Alnwick! The hot chocolate is top tier, and the aura of the room is so calming and peaceful. Delicious food as well! The staff are extremely kind and always decorate your drinks! 10/10 recommend this lovely cafe.

Found this place by chance, after waiting ages to be served (and being ignored) along the road.
Lovely atmosphere. Food and coffee arrived quickly and was delicious. Good range of veggie options made it tricky to choose but settled on the tagliatelle with courgette, pesto and lemon. Definitely recommend!

I love this coffee shop and go on a weekly basis. The menu is lovely and anything I have tried from it was delicious! The hot chocolate is divine, best i’ve ever had!

Lovely cafe, good facilities for babies and kids. Last week the lovely owner even kept my 4 month old entertained while I enjoyed my lunch which was so sweet.

Stopped for a comforting hot chocolate and spiced fruit scone on an extremely cold day. Lovely quirky shop, friendly and helpful staff. My order was delivered to my table by a very friendly member of staff. And the hot chocolate was hot!! Always very important to me. Dog friendly so will definitely be back with my little pup.

Sweet Solstice has only been open for a few months and has fast become one of my favourite places for a coffee and sweet treat. On my visit yesterday, I ordered a new addition to the menu, crêpes, and I was not disappointed. They were delicious. I also took home a raspberry and dark chocolate tart which was indulgent and delicious too.
