AVOID AT ALL COSTS: I placed an order through their outdated website, but it was never sent out despite the full payment. I confirmed that the bank had made an order again and was told once again that the payment had not gone through despite having the bank payment confirmation. They then tried to get us to pay further by bank transfer, which we refused.

These items were for a five-year-old child's birthday, and the owner knew that despite that, the said items were now out of stock, ruining the child's party just for his satisfaction and disgraceful behaviour, especially in the current economic climate. He must be doing well to pick and choose his customers.

Avoid disappointment and last-minute letdowns, and go to one of the hundreds of other party supply companies that will gladly serve you properly.

We have proof of two payments and the bank statements if anyone needs to see that they overcharged us twice. Currently, a chargeback case to retrieve the payment is being processed.

Knowingly ruining a child's birthday party when it's their error is unacceptable.

Should change the name from Swinnertons to Swindletons. Bought two balloons, one had a hole in and went down in a couple of hours ....owner tried to make out we were to blame ... begrudgingly replaced after realising hole was on a place couldn't possibly have been down to us. Second balloon lasted a night .. then exploded !!!
In my opinion they are poor quality goods and vastly overpriced. Card factory sell for a third of the price ( I found out later ). Will never use this company or recommend .

Absolutely amazing balloons for my birthday party. When I arrived I can only describe it as magical! So sorry I missed you on the night.

I should also add how lovely the personalised napkins were, and the printing was of great quality.

Jay is really nice… i am not from the area and found this company online … I called him on Saturday to deliver balloons the next day and he did it! He listened to what I liked and made adjustments quickly without any questions. Highly recommend this company.

What an amazing service👏 not only are you spoilt for choice instore but prices are extremely reasonable. The gentleman went above and beyond to make sure I had balloons 🎈🎈delivered in time for my daughters birthday (after store closing time) to fit around me. I have 3 children and would be using Swinnertons for every party. I can't recommend SWINNERTONS enough. Thanks again😊😊😊

Used this place a few times. The guy is really helpful and tries his best to get me what I need or something very similar (I've had a few fancy dress parties over the past couple of years and always go here for my accessories) he's also got a good selection of balloons decorations I'm very indecisive but he suggests good ways and ideas with the end result looking fabulous! Will definitely go there again 😁

Called 3 days prior to my order being collected to make sure they would be open at a time i knew I could get there 4.45. I was advised yes, the owner would be there until 5.30/6.
On the day if collection I arrived at 4.35 only to find the owner locking up. I dashed over the road and only Just caught him. When I commented ' that was lucky if you were going" what followed next is only what I can explain as rude and undesrevent of anyone's business in the future!
He commented that he did not think I was going to turn up. When pointed out we had a chat just days before to confirm the opening times he simply snapped" well things change don't they?"

I must admit to being annoyed by such a comment so replied " I would have been screwed if I hadn't have fought you locking up". Again he's reply was abrupt when saying " you could have tried calling me and if I hadn't of been almost home I might have come back"

If it wasn't for the fact I was collecting balloons for my sons birthday the following day I would have walked out there and then . He continued to be sharp with me when I was thinking about what colours to have.

During my time I the shop a couple and in to collect an order, he was equally as rude towards them.

When he told me what I owed it was around £6 more then I expected. I knew this from the website where I had made my selection. When I asked he simply hissed" that's what you owe, take it or leave it".

I openly chatted with the couple who he was also rude to once outside, they stayed they had also experienced problems and would not be returning.

I have read many reviews about this shop. The balloons seem good quality, though I would question good for the money seeing as I had been overcharged compared to the website. However, who wants to be spoken to like that by anyone, let alone by someone you are spending money with.
I would never recommend this place to anyone for the above reasons. To add to this from what the couple told me he had let them down with an order they had placed months ago for their silver wedding anniversary.
To sum up, stay away this Man is a complete rude knob and doesn't deserve anyone's money being spent with him!
