Another visit not as busy as other visits, although we are in the run in period to Christmas.
Breakfasts very good., big breakfast excellent

Very good food and service when we had breakfast in the cafe.
The main shopping area was well stocked, at the time of our visit.

This is Andover biggest Supermarket so is often very busy. I have been a huge Tescos fan over the years up until Covid when this store decided to cram in as much produce as possible up really small isles. The Majority of my time is spent saying sorry or excuse me to other shoppers because as well as fellow customers you have the home shopping Staff which i understand must be done but its really really annoying when it is busy. Awful shopping experience. Too many concession racks rails and shelves. As a whole Tescos have reduced a lot of the aisles and products they offer. Clothing Sizes left in stock are always typically completely tiny or huge - why order in so many small and plus sizes .... Logic, Hello .....

Went in to Tesco today to do the weekly shopping and received unbelievable poor service. I was in a queue of four people. The person being served wanted to get her shopping finished. However a person second in the queue started talking to the check out operator about RATS. The checkout operator was really happy about this as she was an expert on every variety of rat. This went on and on. Customer number one just wanted to pay but no the checkout operator just kept talking and talking about rats. After about six minutes in limbo and with the checkout operator still in full flow about rats, Customer 3 and myself moved checkouts. Other staff noticed what was going on but nothing was done. This operator was on till 30 and the time was 1000 hrs on 07/10/24. This checkout operator has been rude to me before so I have no hesitation in posting this review. TESCO we want to shop .....pay .....and go home. This checkout operator needs words of advice and retraining.

Not only are the people on the Customer Service desk particularly unhelpful, Amanda decided to initiate our interaction by being quite disparaging about the customers ahead of me in the queue, simply because they wanted some assistance. Well Amanda, perhaps the couple had difficulties or issues that were not visible to you and even if they didn’t, your job is still to assist and treat people with some basic respect and dignity. The fact that you then tried to engage me to join you in your apparent disbelief regarding the ‘obviousness’ of what they were asking was surprisingly inappropriate. Well, if you think that you are too good for your job then I can assure you that you are not as you are not even adequate. Other such poor interactions with other staff in this branch make me question the culture and management here.

Disabled toilets out of order! Gents toilets blocked & overflowing with 💩, mentioned to 2 members of staff who both said:disabled toilets been out of order for ages but knew gents was blocked but not overflowing!! Disgusting!!

They cancel your shopping with no notice. They don’t even bother to call you just an email. I will be cancelling my delivery saver and going to Sainsburys as I never have any trouble with them. Every week there is an issue and I’ve had enough.

Always great service. The staff are always happy to help. My only real gripe is that it would be nice to see more staffed tills open. I'm all for using self-service, but sometimes it's nice to get the personal approach.
