I have a child with SEN and an ASD diagnosis. I had previously been hesitant about taking him to the holiday club, particularly as he’d been asked to leave others I have booked him in over the years with other providers because they couldn’t cope with his needs.

I initially booked for one day to see how it went. My child thoroughly enjoyed it and the team had no issues dealing with him so, at my child’s request I booked a further two days.

At the end of the third day my child asked if he could go back for the rest of the week so I booked again.

My child had an amazing time and the staff managed him without any issues. It was brilliant to know my son could spend the time experiencing adventurous activities, the same as other children, in a safe and supportive environment.

I will definitely be booking again and my son is already looking forward to doing even more activities in the future. A brilliant team who clearly have knowledge, empathy and experience in working with those with SEN.

I have no hesitation in recommending the venue.

Had a brill time this week with our amazing instructor sol and all the other amazing instructors. The place was clean and tidy when we arrived on Tuesday. we stayed in R block accommodation. The rooms were amazing, the beds were really comfy. The activity's were great for team building and gaining each others trust even though it was freezing. I would like say a big thanks to sol and the other instructors for everything they did this week.- Alex kings trust team 110 Blackburn.

A group of 4 attended a pay and play session on a Sunday. The weather was terrible but that didn't dampen our spirits. We went on paddleboards and kayaks and have never laughed so hard. We had an instructor called Ben who had a lot of patience with us and helped us along the way. It's was very reasonably prices, we will be going again!

Brilliant day with 10 menopausal women and an instructor Gary who was fantastic. Fabulous day out filled with laughter and learning new skills. Thoroughly recommended, if you need smile fuel.

Booked a session for my children at 09:30am, we got one phone call at 08:30am to let us know it had been cancelled due to the weather (however they didn't speak to us left a voicemail). No further attempts to let us know. We drove a 80min round trip, to be notified when we got there, it had been cancelled, quite rude and abrupt. We understand that the weather can cause issues but the lack of effort to let us know and attitude when we arrived is unforgivable. They offered a later slot at 11:30 (so the risk of lightening wasn’t a risk anymore, despite the weather warning for all day being in place and no actual lightening happen that day before we arrived). I wouldn’t recommend unless you are prepared for disappointment and don’t mind driving for a wasted journey, and enjoy rude and abrupt attitudes.

I recently attended the paddlesport safety and rescue course but also attend alot of the pay and play sessions, it's safe to say I just can't get enough of this place, everything from the courses, staff and facilities are second to none. Don't take my work for it! Go and see what it's all about, thanks TEAM ANDERTON!

Just finished my Gold DofE Residential at The Anderton Centre and I can say I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Our Instructor, Nicki, was extremely funny and made us feel welcome when we arrived, she pushed us out of our comfort zones and encouraged us to try as many new activities as possible! Our accommodation was also excellent since it was very clean and well-kept with it including a kitchen and a lounge area for socialising with our peers. I will definitely be recommending The Anderton Centre to my friends for the future and I will almost definitely try to return here at some point!
