Very intimate venue. Seats are steeply tiered with little leg room and not for the faint hearted but comfortable.
Drinks and ice-creams are sensibly priced. Toilets clean.
An enjoyable evening and a venue I would happily visit again.

Our first time at The Bear Pit Theatre and we had a great time.
We had to keep our masks on as is the norm at the moment but that didn't detract from our enjoyment.
We visited the bar area and I was very surprised how reasonable the prices were, the drinks were put into plastic cups and one thing to remember you can't take your bottle into the theatre so get a big cup!
It's a small intimate theatre so you may find yourself sat pretty much in the middle of everything completely different to the bigger places but well worth trying.

Great little theatre. Always enjoyed our visits and good views wherever you sit as seating is steeply raked. Could be a problem for disabled.

The Bear Pit Theatre is a little jewel in the heart of Stratford upon Avon.
we visited last night, a group of 5, and had the most wonderful evening watching ART by Yasmin Reza. Booking on-line was so easy.
From the moment we arrived we were greeted by a most welcoming usher who advised us about the evening ahead and guided us towards the bar to grab a tipple before the auditorium was opened, friendly bar staff too.
Ambient temperature in the auditorium made it feel comfortable all evening.
Only three actors, three items of furniture and three paintings.
All three performers were extremely engaging, very relatable, hilarious, and a joy to watch. The play analyses the relationship between three friends which is thrown into turmoil with the purchase of an expensive piece of art, we roared with laughter and enjoyed seeing the nuances of long term friendships, all of us identifying with many issues thrown up.
A thoroughly enjoyable evening at The Bear Pit Theatre, Bravo 👏🏻

Fantastic, welcoming little gem of a theatre. The seats are very small and crammed in, there's a small bar area to get drinks before and in the interval. Parking is available at a car park almost adjacent.
