We’ve been here a few times over the last few years since we moved to the area and tonight was every bit as good as previous visits. Food was amazing. It was a boys night so my 11 year old son had starters and mains. Scallops and Angus burger for him, Scotch egg and Lamb for me. Delicious. We were served by Brad and Evie. Both very professional yet personable and accommodating. The whole atmosphere was welcoming. Can’t wait to go back. Thank you guys and great job.

I recently had the chance to revisit a restaurant that had a bit of a rough start during my last visit, but I’m so glad I gave it another shot! This time, Alison was absolutely fantastic. She really turned our experience around and went above and beyond to make things right. From the moment we walked in, she was warm and welcoming, and you could tell she genuinely cared about our experience.

Alison took the time to listen to our concerns from the previous visit and made sure to address them. She even recommended some amazing dishes that truly showcased what the restaurant can offer. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was so much more inviting this time around. Thanks to Alison’s exceptional service, we left feeling happy and satisfied. It’s clear that this restaurant has the potential to shine, and I can’t wait to come back again! Highly recommend!

The Cherry Tree do the best Sunday roasts!The gravy is so rich and tasty, it just makes the meal! Perfect for a Sunday treat. Service is always amazing, and the décor is absolutely gorgeous, adding to the warm and inviting atmosphere.

Although we live in Blackrod this was our first visit to the Cherry Tree for a birthday lunch for partners 65th birthday. Our booking was 2.30pm and we were amazed how busy it still was but soon appreciated why. From the minute we walked in the welcome with birthday card, cleanliness, atmosphere and service were faultless. Having smaller appetites we chose from the market menu and were not disappointed at all. We were certainly full after 3 courses and then received an additional birthday dessert which was a lovely touch. We finished with a really excellent coffee too. We felt it was all value for money for the taste and quality of the food we received and will definitely return soon.
